So you are now saying that God "knowing all" sent out a false message .... it was a false message because He knew the Jews would not respond affirmatively and then he changed to Plan B.
You don't remember what I have discussed with you previously is it?

As I have said to you before, you believe omniscience from God does not allow free choice from Man.

Hence you have this view about it being Plan B, when I said no such thing.

I have noticed that no matter what dcon post, 11 will support him with likes and take his word as the truth.

That is one central feature of echo chambers and how confirmation bias works.
If you were right I would support you too... but so far that has not happened... not my fault.

There is only one gospel that saves NOW, which is contained in 1 Cor 15:1-4.

But there were various good news preached before that happened: Jeremiah 23:5-6, Luke 1:31-33, Luke 1:68-75
False alert....Only one gospel that saved or saves a man genius....!

Some do not understand the meaning of the word gospel. Everytime they see the word they equate it to eternal salvation.

As I have said to John146, you guys are fond of anticipating revelation. You find it very difficult to put yourself in the shoes of a Jew in the OT and understand what he understood then.

Paul did not exist during the OT. Stop inserting his revelations into the OT. God kept those revelations a secret until he revealed them to Paul, it was hidden in him since the world began (Ephesians 3:9)
Of course he existed during the time of the old covenant. He was born in the same time frame as Christ "born under the law".

Paul stated his gospel was from the law and the prophets:

(Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets)

That passage is saying that the believers in those churches fear Paul because of his previous prosecution of all believers. It has nothing to do with the gospel that he received directly from Christ.

You are the one cherry picking out of context.
I think not, read the whole context.

Maybe if he started worshipping God instead of the Anglican version of the word of God!

I am CONVINCED he is Addicted to Arguments. He will in my opinion, is here just to see how he can frustrate us, and thinks he is winning when he does. What he doesn't realize, is HE IS SINNING:

Proverbs 6:14 (NCV)
14 They make evil plans in their hearts and are always starting arguments.

Proverbs 6:16-19 (NCV)
16 There are six things the LORD hates. There are seven things he cannot stand:
17 a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that kill innocent people,
18 a mind that thinks up evil plans, feet that are quick to do evil,
19 a witness who lies, and someone who starts arguments among families.

Proverbs 13:10 (NCV)
10 Pride only leads to arguments, but those who take advice are wise.

Romans 1:21-22 (NJB)
21 they knew God and yet they did not honour him as God or give thanks to him, but their arguments became futile and their uncomprehending minds were darkened.
22 While they claimed to be wise, in fact they were growing so stupid

You have to like that NJB translation.

Ephesians 5:6 (HCSB)
6 Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for God’s wrath is coming on the disobedient because of these things.

1 Timothy 6:4-5 (HCSB)
4 he is conceited, understanding nothing, but has a sick interest in disputes and arguments over words. From these come envy, quarreling, slander, evil suspicions,
5 and constant disagreement among people whose minds are depraved and deprived of the truth, who imagine that godliness is a way to material gain.

1 Timothy 6:20 (NCV)
20 Timothy, guard what God has trusted to you. Stay away from foolish, useless talk and from the arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge.“

2 Timothy 2:23-24 (NCV)
23 Stay away from foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they grow into quarrels.
24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, a good teacher, and patient.

I lasted as long as I could, but when I felt my Patients wearing thin with him, I knew it was time to put him on my IGNORE LIST.

Yep, Les Feldick did say many times that this idea of more than 1 gospel throughout the Bible is probably the hardest obstacle to overcome for Christians who subscribed to Covenant Theology.

An appeal to a bogus authority is a weak argument, my authority is the bible not some quack on the internet - dime a dozen.

Paul's gospel was a mystery that was hidden since the world began (Romans 16:25)
Out of context:

(Rom 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began)

(Rom 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith)

The mystery is that GENTILES were to fellowheirs with Israel:

(Eph 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit)

(Eph 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel)

(Eph 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power)

(Eph 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ)

(Eph 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ)

(Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world)

(Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ)

You don't understand what the word NOW means in English is it?

But now means the secret is revealed NOW.

It was a mystery in time past, in the OT.

So? The people did not understand that Gentiles were to be included in the promises to Israel.

So my original post you replied to was talking about Jews in the OT.

If you put yourself in the shoes of a Jew living in the OT, you were expecting a kingdom on Earth, as prophesied by your prophets in time past. (Luke 1)

It was all Israel Israel Israel in those prophecies. And it was about a kingdom on Earth.

68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:

71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;

72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

What they were expecting was based on misunderstanding the law and prophets, just the way you are.

(Rom 1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God)

(Rom 1:2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,))

I am asking you to "put yourself in the shoes of a Jew living in the OT" and understand what were they expecting.

If you find it impossible to do that, then there is no point continuing in this discussion.

I know what they were expecting and they were wrong, we have a bible that testifies to it. Had Jesus wanted an earthy kingdom then He missed His chance:

(John 6:15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone)

Looks to me it was Jesus that rejected the Jews not the other way around as you are claiming.
