Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
The bible is clear, sin was not imputed to those that lived before the law. The bible also says Jesus went and preached to them, they were exposed to the law. That's all we can say. Were they given a chance to repent? I don't know, probably, but the bible doesn't say one way or the other as far as I know.
"...sin was in the world..."
I believe that the very next verse essentially says, "but there was never a time when disobedience to God was excusable." I believe that Romans 1:19+ reinforces this.

Jesus came to give us a way out of Hell, not a way into it. If Cain did not repent in his older years, he won't be given another chance (as far as I know). In the beginning, a law was already preinstalled. I believe that Romans 1 says as much. Cain will not be judged for rejecting Jesus, but he will be judged for disobeying God.

GOD turned the whole world over to disobedience...so as to be just when HE judges and the justifier of all whose faith is in HIS SON.

Did HE do this before CHRIST came into the world...or after?

I don't think dying and going to a prison qualifies as being excused.

I agree. The captivity was the Old Testament saints that went to heaven with Jesus. They weren't in prison though, they were in Abraham's bosom. The prison ministry was those before the law came.

So there IS three places. I never got an answer regarding this...

So those OT saints were in Abrahamś bosom, with Abraham being there as well? Or was he in Heaven

I believe there are only two places, Abraham's bosom and the prison. Abraham's bosom was in the "heart of the earth". When Jesus ascended into heaven at the ascension, Abraham and all the Old Testament saints went up with him. That's when they entered heaven.

When did Jesus take back the keys to hades and death then if HE descended only into the ḧeart of the earth?

Christ had to fill all things so as to have the preeminence over all things created.
He couldn´t have only descended to this middle interim place...this heart of the earth, sir.
He had to descend so as to ascend so as to have the authority over all things...whether in heaven, on the earth, or under the earth...

There isn´t mention of two places under the earth, sir...
And I know he took back the keys to hades and death...
But where is it mentioned in scripture that the parable about abraham and Lazarus had to do with a different place outside of heaven.

All that is mentioned is that there was a great chasm between the two.

The chasm between the two being where Lazarus was (a sick, and diseased poor man, yet known as belonging to the promise given to Abraham) and where the rich man (who thought according to the scriptures belonged to the promise given to Abraham)

Mat_12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Jesus was three days in the heart of the earth according to the bible.

Philippians 2:9-11
Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Revelation 5:1-4
Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the One seated on the throne. It had writing on both sides and was sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll? But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look inside it."

Revelation 5:13
And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying

Yeah I did and I said the same thing in the post you're responding to.

This is what I said:
Only two that I know of, Abraham's bosom and the prison.

I don't understand what you're questioning.

How many places are there under the earth
Sheol/Hades: The place of departed unsaved human spirits

The Abyss: A place of imprisonment for fallen angels/demonic beings

Tartartoo/Tartartus: The place that God sent the angels who sinned who took human wives.

I suppose that when Jesus said every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that it would include the angels as well.

The world died because they didnt believe that it was going to rain.

… and the very fact that Noah was building a big boat was a witness to them and against them. This may be exactly what Jesus told them when He was down there.
