Let's talk about God being a trinity or a unity.
Are these three statements true?
A. Jesus=God
B. The father=God
C. Anytime we see "God" in a statement we can replace it with "Jesus".
If those three statements are all true, then we have
D. The father=Jesus
Is this verse true?
John 14: 28 You heard how I told you, 'I go away, and I come to you.' If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I said 'I am going to my Father;' for the Father is greater than I.
If so, then we have
E. The father > Jesus
But now
D. The father=Jesus
E. The father > Jesus
And both of those cannot be true.
