Practical temporal point of view .. a person has doubts and their faith is severely challenged and perhaps emotionally and even intellectually they are not being faithful to "the faith" ... however there are never deemed "unbelievers" from God's point of view.
Just another 'not really' osas doctrine.
This time it's 'people who stop believing/trusting in Christ are not really unbelievers'.

Dude....you are the one denying context and the fact that he is addressing those who are denying the resurrection of Jesus....get your head out of the sand genius!!
"By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you." - 1 Corinthians 15:2

Whether it's not holding fast to the word of a resurrected Christ, or that Christ is not actually risen, which part of the condition 'if you hold firmly to the word' do you not understand?

Question: I waver in my spiritual faith alot. Does that mean that I'm not saved? That I've fallen back into unbelief?

Whoever gives a proper, satisfactory answer gets a lollipop.. :sneaky::whistle:

There is a vast difference, between someone who temporarily waver in their faith, and one who falls back into unbelief in God altogether.
I would agree like @mailmandan has often stated on here that the spiritual experience of the new birth is too profound a reality ... it does seem hard to fathom.

The main thing saved is saved.

....any and all conditions placed upon a man that requires US maintaining our salvation or faith to KEEP salvation = a works based salvation that devalues Christ and enthrones self!!
Then explain to us why the Bible teaches this "works based salvation that devalues Christ and enthrones self":

"By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you." - 1 Corinthians 15:2

"stand firm in the faith - 1 Corinthians 16:13

"building yourselves up in your most holy faith" - Jude 1:20

"holding on to faith" - 1 Timothy 1:19

"hold firmly to the faith we profess" - Hebrews 4:14

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess" - Hebrews 10:23

"And now, dear children, continue in him" - 1 John 2:28

"As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you." - 1 John 2:24

Instruct us so we will be careful to not heed these exhortations to keep believing and be guilty of trying to earn our own salvation.

No.
When you make a conscious decision that you do not want the gospel anymore that is when you have entered into unbelief.
But to wonder if this is all really true is only human.
You can do that and not be in unbelief.
Example, John the Baptist:

"2When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples 3to ask him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” - Matthew 11:2

This from the man born with the Holy Spirit and who saw with his own eyes the Spirit descend on Jesus and heard the voice of God declaring him to be the Son of God. Apparently, his suffering caused him to doubt what he'd seen and heard from God. But he did not renounce Christ as Messiah and choose to not believe anymore. That's the important part.

One act of trust/belief secures salvation it cannot be undone.
You do not need to make these kinds of posts.
Simply restating your argument doesn't do anything.
What you need to do is directly address the Biblical challenges leveled against your arguments.

I agree.
Lightskin probably knows this too.

Falling back in unbelief altogether is signified by a conscious return to the old life altogether.
That's an obvious falling away.
The truly dangerous falling away is denying the gospel like the Galatians and the Corinthians did all the while thinking you still have it.
They were Christians who exchanged the Jesus who saved them for a Jesus who can't save them.
That's what the new osas does.
It changes the Jesus who only saves those who believe and trust in him into a Jesus who saves those who don't believe in him.
Even the old style osas didn't do that!

One act of trust/belief secures salvation...
Good so far. (y)

...it cannot be undone.
Prove this using scripture.
Use the WHOLE counsel of scripture.
Don't leave out the parts about the necessity to not stop the one act of believing that secured it.

Even the old osas doctrine said you have to keep believing.

So so ridiculous.....

That must be an interesting prayer....

Dear Lord,

I never really believed in a secure salvation, eternal life, that is how I know I can return it because I never really believed the gospel correctly to begin with.

Best,
Mr. MAL-informed

If we become faithless, he abides faithful because he cannot deny himself.

No one loses salvation regardless of the frauds like Ralph, Judges, Frans etc. that peddle that crap like a street organ player in Bombay with a dancing monkey for coin....!!

Here lies the issue, again.
The flesh.....pride...

Those who are His do not wonder about Salvation,
We wonder in His Salvation.....The dowry has been paid....
He absolutely cannot grasp this truth...ONE MUST actually be born from above by faith to grasp truth.....a man that says HE MUST X, Y, Z to maintain salvation HAS NOT TRUSTED into the faith of CHIRST....regardless of their claim to fame!!
