more obfuscation ... and, again, par for the course
Did I accurately state your understanding of 1 Kings 22:19-23?
Yes or no?
Thanks.
1 Kings 22:
19 And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.
22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.
Here's what you want us to believe:
vs 20 - God wants to persuade Ahab that he should go to Ramothgilead so that Ahab would fall.
vs 23 - God put a lying spirit in the mouth of all Ahab's prophets.
Have I stated your understanding of this passage correctly, Dave-L???
That question requires a simple yes / no answer.
If the answer is yes, then I can respond.
If the answer is no, then please state your understanding so that I may respond. Thank you.

Your rabid jumping around from verse to verse serves only to expose your nakedness (and the fact that you are not interested in being clothed) ... heh!!!

They ate their own children. Of course they could have refrained from doing so. God did not force them to do anything.......they sinned and rebelled of their own free will. Then they suffered the consequences.

Jude and Peter and Paul quoted the Book of Enoch in their epistles. Does that mean that the entire texts they were quoting were reliable or inspired?
Heavens no!
