The Bible is written by men who God has spoken to. Then it was interpreted by and discerned by other fallible men. Then read and (mis)understood by other fallible men who tried to teach it again to more fallible men. Unless you read the Bible without preconceptions and pray about what you read, you really have no chance of understanding it. You say the Bible is the word of God, but who said that? Other fallible men who use fear to motivate less understanding men to give them power. The Logos of God is not a book, but a book can help illustrate it and convey it in a literary form. If you don’t understand then you have allowed fallible men to form your thoughts and not God.
If the bible is not your standard then all is relative.
Universal salvation can be just as plausable as believers being the chosen few.
Nobody is right...nobody is wrong .Jesus may or may not be the messiah and we could have the gospel totally wrong.

No sir
God is able to deliver into my hand the word of God.
And He did.
I bet my life on it .

I believe it is more real than you or me.
It is eternal.
It is Gods gift to his family.
It is true and I stand on it.
No other book like it.
None anywhere.

And my entire argument is based upon what JESUS said, not what anyone else said. And HE said, God is a SPIRIT. HE being GOD knew this discussion would take place 2,000 years later. So I believe, if they were Persons, HE knowing this discussion and all discussions would have said they are Persons. But that is not what HE said. HE said GOD is a SPIRIT: He capped the S on SPIRIT and ended that emphatic statement with :

He was rather conclusive and I see no reason to twist HIS words because of a personal view!
Yes God is a spirit.
That dynamic in no way removes him from being an entity or person.
Jesus is a man...the God Man.
We still have the trinity as 3 entities...but one God.
3 and one at the same time.
Notice entity or person can be used interchangeably

And no, I do not believe the Church Fathers over the inspired Word, but their comments are towards the original Word almost 1500 years before the KJV Bible ever existed. My point is, the KJV should align with the versions the Church Fathers had access to.
As I have shown you that they in fact do.

The only Bible written by God which God (Eshu) quoted was the Tanakh (Isaiah = Prophets).
The other Bible was assembled by men (dead men led by a known pagan who only converted to stay alive when Christians were murdering every nonbelievers).
David and others wrote psalms.

Oh well there goes the neighborhood.

Is the entire Bible not dead man’s writings? Also those who decided what will be in the canon, also dead men. We among the great debaters of scripture...all eventually dead men. What differenciates anything in essence is who currently holds the power of persuasion. I’m not validating or denouncing anything stated. I just think that the possibility that every thought being perceived accurately to be translated properly to then be understood infallibly includes many variables. Is it even probable that every man that Christ spoke to and continues to speak through will be inserted into the Bible. The Spirit lives in us and reveals much even today.
I understand

Here is the deal
Where does one "center"
If I have not the infallible true word of God,what on earth do I have???
Can I trust it?

I do.
I bet my life on it.

Any man,myself included,can be decieved.
So where is safety?
In a book?
Not really ,what if I misread it even though it is perfect???

Assume it is perfect. What if I misinterpret it?

See,there is only one safe place.
That is to be right in the lap of the one who cannot be decieved. He will never mislead me. He will always hand me truth.
The spirit and the word agree.
The only safe place is to be like john. To put my ear on his breast and hear the heartbeat of the savior.
No other woman can put her ear on my chest to hear my heartbeat. Only my wife can settle in and get that intimate.
That is you and all of us calling. To be there in that place. Never decieved. Always handed truth by the only one that can not be decieved.
If I am there and intimate I will never be decieved.

The bible is the standard.
Billy Graham said while holding his bible up "this is a worthless book without the Holy Spirit to interpret it"

I think what all have offered is a good point of view in explaining the Trinity. I was only stating I think they are Spirit not Persons. Not sure why that is such a bad thing when I based it off of what Jesus said, God is a SPIRIT:
What do you think a person is?

Angels are spirits, Sons of God.
Jesus said GOD is a SPIRIT:
You are defining entity and Persons with Spirit based upon HUMAN UNDERSTANDING.
That is why I go with what Christ specifically said.

I see no issue with 3 Spirits Being the One God and that is how I believe because in Heaven they are SPIRIT, like Jesus said!
No...there is a problem with that...just as you do not have three spirits

In this you separate the trinity more than those who understand that JESUS is GOD in the flesh...

Biker,

A body without a spirit is a mass of lifeless unmoving flesh...
And a spirit without a body can not be made manifest...

CHRIST came to show us THE FATHER,...

And by WHOSE SPIRIT could CHRIST have all authority to show/.reveal/manifest THE FATHER...

Are you suggesting that CHRIST now, after ascending back to THE GLORY which HE had from the beginning, now has a spirit separate from THE FATHER.

Because, this is what you are suggesting when you say there are three spirits in Heaven and yet they are ONE...

May I suggest you read 1 John 5

That’s where knowledge and seeking with all of your heart comes into play. Everyone thinks their correct. Many devout believers all think God is giving them the true interpretation. However not all agree.

Not what the bible says.
It testifies against what you just said

I don't recall reading where the Bible ever foretold of a council of men doing God's job to put a Bible in place. Please show me where that specific part is found within the 66 Books of the Canon?

We are talking about God though, not the human soul.

The man who was possessed by a Legion of Demons, or 6,000+ Demons to be exact. Were those Demons in physical Bodily form to fit into that possessed man, or were they spirit form?

The Holy Spirit lives inside of us. Is that in physical body form or in Spirit body form?

And how come you do knowing the WORD of GOD does not?
Because in your human thinking, that is what you assume is how/why!

If they were persons, Don't you think Jesus would have said so?

You understand Jesus is the WORD?
You understand the WORD has made many visits to Earth before we knew Him as Jesus?
And do you know the WORD became flesh for our Sacrifice?

He only has to be flesh on Earth when He deals with mankind. He is still the WORD (Spirit) in Heaven!

What do you think a person is?

per·son
/ˈpərs(ə)n/

noun
  • 1.a human being regarded as an individual:
Which God, the Father, is not a human being, nor is the Holy Spirit a human being. And the WORD is only human when He deals with mankind on Earth.

So then, the Bible makes 2 distinct specifications. One being, mankind and people are persons. The other being, Jesus said God is a SPIRIT. So, ultimately, the Bible does separate the 2. Therefore I ask, why are we merging as the same, what the Bible has declared is not the same?
