eleventhhour can defend herself, she does not need anyone doing so.

but this is just plain rude and silly.

this is why I can't go very far with you conspiracy theorists. you think anyone who disagrees with you is a shill or a plant.

you think everything is fake, and every event is a false flag.

you refuse to see that everything is NOT binary.

some things are true, some things are false. those of us who live in the real world get that.

and, even though eleventhhour and I disagree, sometimes strongly , about some things with the virus, I like her. and she is 100% percent NOT a brainwashed m.s.m, plant.
Ok.
I looked at some of her posts in bdf
Seems like a good egg afterall.
I like her too.

I look at it this way... I find it funny someone would think I am shill.:D

Iron sharpens iron

People challenge me I go learn more.
With this virus it is just complicated we just have to remember that ...lots of disinformation, misinformation all around and some good information as well.

I actually liked you before you went to far on this virus denial ... the truth is somewhere in the middle I think.

and not actually aknowledging that hey, guns are designed to kill and can actually be you know, dangerous weapons.
GUNS don't kill people kill.....lol...They are just a tool and can be used for good or bad.

Guns can be dangerous weapons but they can also be a great tool to ensure safety as well. Guns are good for protection. I live in a mountain area. Guns are sometimes needed for protection against wild animals and such. Guns are also good for hunting which may be needed now more than ever if the environment gets any worse.

So guns like anything else can be used for good or bad...just saying.

how about people here take a minutes silence to mourn.

A year from now, thats what people are going to do.
I'd say most people have and are continuing to do that. I know you have a big problem with Americans and your posts are so very hypocritical...just saying. You seem to like putting the blame on Americans for every evil under the sun. So why don't you step back and look at yourself for minute or two.

America is suffering right now, many people have died and many more are sick from this virus, so now's not the time for your hypocritical posts.

I don't know exactly what you have against "US" Americans, but you need to get on your knees and pray for the LOVE of GOD....just saying.

I also wonder how the economy will fare when many people start calling in sick on a regular basis because they are afraid to go to work,

knowing that if they did go to work, became sick to the extent of needing hospitalization there is a good chance with limited resources

(especially nurses) they may not make it out alive?
Doctors, nurses, and hospital support staff are truly at great risk. Everyone else, not so much except for the elderly who have existing health problems and those with suppressed immune systems. The nursing home deaths are tragic.

As for your first statement, I am sure that most companies will start out being lenient but after awhile will tighten down the attendance policy. There will be much abuse of those calling in sick just to get a day off. That is what is happening right now where I am working. The current policy is that if you call in sick you are not allowed back for 14 days (unpaid) and must have a doctor's note stating you are healthy enough to work. A lot of people have done this already, probably figure that they will just live on their stimulus check for the 2 weeks and forego what they can earn at work.

Now protest are going on across many states in US to lighten the restrictions in place. The Gov. of KY always gives a 5 pm debriefing daily of the coronavirus situation. Yesterday there were protests going on outside the state capitol and they could be heard loud and clear while the Gov. was giving his daily debriefing. Protesters were yelling things such as "we want to work" .... Not sure how this is going to go now. Guess, all we can do is just wait and see how it's going to go. I

I'm not even sure which side to take in this situation. Seems like a darned if you do darned if you don't situation going on now.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/16/us/coronavirus-rules-protests.html
The game the governors are playing now is about power and control. The public is getting tired of this charade. I would not be the surprised in the least if there are mass protests and possibly riots. This ain't the USSR.

the nation of India. one of the highest population densities on the planet.
the virus, if it is contagious as the media says, it should be tearing through the population like a hot knife through butter.

but, it is not.
why?
Maybe the hot spicy food prevents infection from establishing a foothold in the host.

You know the polio virus started by attacking children and then began to hit the wider population ... so do not be so sure that only the old and feeble are at risk (as though they are somehow expendable) we have no idea what is yet to come.

As for riots.. that is all that is needed, seriously, well bad times ahead then, really bad... btw..... USSR is no longer a repressive regime.

Really sad you call it a charade. :(
There are healthy thirty year old on ventilators for weeks fighting for their lives, no known underlying health challenges.

There are a few states which have serious hot spots so caution must be exercised in regards to how to reopen. There are many states that could probably reopen their states today without restrictions. Regarding the charade, I was referring to the situation in Michigan where everything is shut down. You can go shopping but are prohibited from buying any non-food items. The Michigan governor is incompetent and is playing power and control games with the entire population.

Your mind is made up so I do not really think there is much I can write with regards virology and pandemics.
Let's pray there is little to be concerned about and everything will be fine as you seem to hold to.... time will indeed tell.

I firmly believe as long as we have Trump in the White House our liberties and freedoms will be as they were. People need to remember that right now we may not have the freedoms we once had but over time things will go back to the way it was. I also believe God is using this for the greater good.

That would be millions dying.
quarantine those at risk, not healthy people
the flu spreads easily. And now they are including flu related deaths and symptoms wight corona virus. The figures are way misleading.

Just recently came across this article which states that Christians are spreading conspiracy theories in regards to the coronavirus.

https://www.christianitytoday.com/edstetzer/2020/april/christians-and-corona-conspiracies.html
This is at best the voice of naive Christians who have good intentions but who are "asleep in the MATRIX" along with the rest of the world. At worst, it is deliberate propaganda to deter Christians from caring enough to want to learn the real truth about the world they live in.

The calculus is seriously flawed and was skewed towards a complete shutdown of the United States despite the heavy financial burden faced by a lot of families and loss of jobs that may never returned. This is in addition to the loss of liberty and freedom that is more typical in police states.

my point is, you don't shut down an entire world economy over a flu virus, and when the vast majority of people who do die from it are already badly ill. There has to be another agenda .
The true agenda is power and control with the cover being the coronavirus outbreak.

Found some good news that should satisfy almost everybody except the extremists.

The state of Florida is opening some beaches, that should help those who are concerned about lock down measures. And for those who fear easing up too soon, the decision is based on new computer modeling done by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, so it is a science based decision.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/jacksonv...xZF5Oig-59fGWpE5bofUdv-_rSuT-tOc3qZ5e9LQ5GXVo

The prediction for the United States as a whole from this Institute is now about 60,000 fatalities by Aug 4th....by way of a benchmark the CDC says that as many as 63,000 Americans can die during a harsh flu season. But of course, we don't know if/when the coronavirus pandemic will end.

Still tons of unknowns obviously....computer modeled simulations in my book aren't really science, too many variables and assumptions....but they do guide a lot of policy. The original decision to lock down was based on a computer simulation run by the Imperial College of London, one that predicted over 1 million deaths in the U.S, even with social distancing and other mitigation efforts.

This prediction is off by a long shot. 3 weeks ago, we were at ~5k dead in the US; 2 weeks ago, 10k. A week ago, 20k. We're set to crest 40K this weekend. August is about 4 months away.
