Are you saying we should respect those who mock God with stammering lips through the oral traditions of men ?
God has designed a sign against those warning us of those who do mock him refusing to hear the word of God as it is written as the exclusive authority by which men can believe God not seen .
They wanted to do their own self righteous work of self edifying, performing wonders as wonderment. Making noises like babies with no understanding .
Yet for all that they still refuse to believe as it is written alone. That sign is found all over the world . . make a noise fall backward wonder if they are mocking God ? They would be in need of the light of the gospel.
But they would not listen to him. So the Lord’s words will be senseless sounds to them:
“Saw lasaw saw lasaw.
Qaw laqaw qaw laqaw.
Ze’er sham ze’er sham.”
When the people try to walk, they will fall backwards. They will be defeated, trapped, and captured.Isaiah 28:13
But Garee, don't you believe that "speaking in new tongues" is merely "speaking the gospel"? Which is it?

In my experience, I've seen someone claim this on the forum (or even not claim this just mention spiritual gifts is enough), people would gather it would be pointed out that this is NOT a salvation requirement.
Such was NEVER let standing, it always gets massive opposition on this forum.
I personally don't oppose spiritual gifts themselves exist but oppose claims of salvation requirement (although I've rarely seen it claimed here).
So I don't know what threads are you talking about.
Maybe a few individual posts, which is by no means a general consensus on this forum.

I showed you Matthew 24 where God Himself declared these things would be happening by both false and good prophets. That however leads to YOU knowing who the difference is. But it has nothing to do with the fact that signs and wonders and speaking in tongues will be active.
Yes, declaring the will of our Father it is all one in the same ! Its his prophecy he puts on our tongues. We can say the words as planting the spiritual seed of new born again spirit life. But he does the work of breathing into us strengthening us . Just as he did with Jesus. Jesus did not murmur like some. He knew it was the father working in him to both will and do the good pleasure of God.
My dear friends, you always obeyed what you were taught. Just as you obeyed when I was with you, it is even more important for you to obey now that I am not there. So you must continue to live in a way that gives meaning to your salvation. Do this with fear and respect for God. Yes, it is God who is working in you. He helps you want to do what pleases him, and he gives you the power to do it. Do everything without complaining or arguing Philipians 2:12-14
Plenty of those around . Are you receiving visions, dreams or out of the body experiences? How can you see into the hearts of others?

there are not threads that say what he maintains
but there are a good many threads that he has posted in where he says the same things and then a bunch of people come along and assure him that is not so

Can it be that you missunderstood my post? I did not said that somebody claimed this is an salvation requirement. Maby you should read my post again, ore maby I did not realy clear express what I meant.
