The Believer must grow in Grace and knowledge of God the Father, and God the Son (The Lamb of God) so that the promises of God are multiplied to you. In other words, what happen on the Cross.

Our Lord Jesus Christ died on the Cross for our sins. He bore our sins that we may bare His Righteousness. He was made a curse and His body was broken that we may be blessed by remembering what His Blood has done. He became poor, that through His poverty we might be rich. He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows (infirmities, sickness, and diseases); and with His stripes we are healed. He Blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. He was raised from the dead without our sins, and we have been raised in Him. And today, by faith we sit with our Lord our God, Jesus Christ, at His Right Hand resting in His victory (what He did) at Calvary Cross, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

This is a glimpse into the spirit world shown to Zechariah:

Clean Garments for the High Priest / Zechariah 3:1-5 NIV

1 Then he showed me Joshua the High Priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan[a] standing at his right side to accuse him.

2 The LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”

3 Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the Angel.

4 The Angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.” Then He said to Joshua, “See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you.”

5 Then I said, “Put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the Angel of the LORD stood by.

Notice who was standing to the right of Joshua...Satan! Heaven had to intervene for Joshua because he was being resisted by Satan.

The battle is a spiritual battle!

Rev. 20:2 teaches us about the "dragon," (he shows his power); as a "serpent," (he shows his cunning); as the "Devil," (he is the accuser); and as "Satan," (he is the adversary).

Yes, indeed, we are advised to suit up w/the whole armor of God to stand against the wiles/tricky methods of the devil' Eph 6:11.

insult do not make you authoritative.
Don't you know, and haven't you heard, sicknesses and diseases are a blessing of and from God, to many here on CC?
And to believe God will actually protect the believers, is for one to live in a pipe dream.
Or so I have been told, and much more, when I presented God's promises of good health and healing.
Many so-called believers believe experiences OVER the word of God.
I didn't know I indirectly stepped on your toes.
No it doesn't make what I say authoritative, and neither does mocking someone, or interpreting scripture and teaching others based solely on experiences, but interpreting the word of God, as it is written, certainly does make what I say, authoritative.
You might make the argument that you are doing the same, but I would say, 'you are not', IF you are not interpreting what is written, AS IT IS WRITTEN.
M
any here on CC, do not.
They mostly ADD a part of some other unrelated verse to one of God's promises, to make it the "whole council of God".
Which is the very thing I see as, twisting or corrupting the word of God.
Does it bother you or have you said anything to anyone who said to another, that they believe in that "name it claim it" or "blab it grab it" doctrine?
That very thing is the same thing Paul called, "word of faith", and preached that word to everyone, everywhere.
Such names or titles are meant to be, insulting and are said, at times, in a derogatory, demeaning, and mocking manor.
It insinuates the person is worldly, out for themselves to get wealth, riches, and possessions, and many play on that very thought.
Have you corrected those who have said such things, as you have done with me?
I understand there are some gray areas in scripture, due to our lack of knowledge and/or inability to comprehend or understand things written that we haven't seen or experienced before, but some of the things written are, or should be, basic knowledge and easy to be seen/perceived and understood. Words of faith, being one of those doctrines.
It's the intellectuals and pastors who misguide many in the church, by twisting and ignoring what is plainly written, based on their failed experiences or church doctrines, and other reasons.
Many have said, God doesn't always give you what you ask for. Sometimes He says, yes, and sometimes, no, and sometimes, wait.
And they say it in an authoritative way/tone, not only without ANY scriptural backing, but they make such statements based on their experiences and/or that of others.
Where have you read in scripture where God say, yes, sometimes?
And where have you read in scripture where, sometimes God says, no?
And what scripture is all that based on?
"If it be, or according to, GOD'S WILL"?
Again, an interpretation based on failed experiences.
There is NO authority in experiences UNLESS it backs up scripture, BECAUSE, "these signs follow them that believe [WHAT IS WRITTEN]", not the other way around.

This is a rather easy to solve paradox. God can cause good to come out of sickness and disease. Al things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose. But most everyone can agree that divine health is better and it is better to never get sick in the first place.
But what does the word of God call sickness, a blessing of God or a curse?

If we go by the law of first use then everything builds upon what we first read in the Bible. In Exodus 15:26 we are told: "If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His eyes, and pay attention to His commands, and keep all His statutes, then I will not bring on you any of the diseases I inflicted on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."

God wants us to make a choice starting with: Live or death, blessing or curse, sickness or health, poverty or prosperity. Life is always the right choice to make. Still we have to choose and God will not make our choices for us.

'Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. '
There is power in the Blood of Jesus. This is passover and the Blood of Jesus is to be on the doorpost of our house. Then the death angel will pass over out house. The plague at the first passover was on the firstborn. This plague affects the older people and also men at a rate of 58% compared to 42% for women. (reported last week in the New England Journal of Medicine)

As the Body of Christ, we should be in agreement against the enemy and attacks such as this virus. Last Wednesday my online Pastor led the congregation in a prayer of agreement quoting Scriptures like 'Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. ' There is so much power in prayers of agreement There are a multitude of great Sriptures on victory, authority, protetion, etc.
If you'd like to share any such Scriptures, please do. I have so many I also will be posting.
We should be increasing our Faith not our fear.

Matthew 18:18-20 - Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Verse page" data-hasqtip="68" aria-describedby="qtip-68" style="box-sizing: border-box; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(57, 84, 127); text-decoration: none; transition: color 0.2s ease-in-out 0s; font-size: 15px; font-weight: 700;">Hebrews 10:24-25

Heb 10:24-25 '...and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.'
luke 10:19 isn't about us, are you one of the 72? Scripture must be read in CONTEXT and the virus isn't an attack of the enemy. see we know whos sovreign over it, and who allows it to be, satan cannot do anything save God grant him permission. read Job for clarification and also you need to read the scriptures for yourself instead of what other tell you. you will be held accountable! peace

Please explain.
In what way was I being rude or insulting, and to whom are you referring to?
I think you misunderstood my statements and questioning.
I was neither rude nor insulting the OP.
Perhaps you misunderstood or missed the part where I said, "Or so I have been told,...", meaning, that which I said to the original poster, is the very thing others have said to me.
I was stating a fact, and not from hear say, but from first hand knowledge.
I was not insulting the OP, but rather jesting, while mocking those who believe the things I said the OP was ignorant of.

I am amazed that this is the 40 days of passover. Yet no one is talking about Passover when Moses told the Hebrew Children to put the Blood on their doorpost. It is as if passover is for real this year. There really is a plague. People really do need the Blood of Jesus to protect them from the death angel. For 1,000 years they will study this plague. At least future generations will understand what we are going through right now. We can look at New Orleans and their Mardi Gras, Florida and their Spring Break, NYC, Los Angeles & San Francisco. They all seem to be dealing with this the most. For example NYC is paying $100 an hour to get a nurse to work right now. People are afraid to work there. Health care workers are afraid they will take this home to their family.

Yes fear is a major part of the hype and as we know fear/doubt is a faith killer.
I actually put anointed oil on all my doorways and daily claim 'No plague shall come near our home'. I also have a lighted :)Cross in my yard.

No one is talking about Passover since CHRIST OUR PASSOVER was sacrificed for us about 2000 years ago. And then He cried "IT IS FINISHED".

Christians celebrated the Lord's Supper WEEKLY to remember His death and to anticipate His coming for the Church at the Resurrection/Rapture. The Passover has been fulfilled.

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. (1 Cor 11:26).

Thank you for letting me know sir.
It was as I thought.
You misunderstood or misinterpreted what I said.
It was said facetiously and meant to be humorous.
That was just my dry, apparently not so witty, humor shining for a moment.
Sorry about that, I am forever working on my communication skills.
If you think I'm just making this up, take a look at who gave me a white and green check, saying he/she agrees with me.
It was the very person you are accusing me of insulting.
He/She took it the way it was meant to be taken... humorously.
