Don't you know, and haven't you heard, sicknesses and diseases are a blessing of and from God, to many here on CC?

This is a rather easy to solve paradox. God can cause good to come out of sickness and disease. Al things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose. But most everyone can agree that divine health is better and it is better to never get sick in the first place.

The Great Commission is our Priesthood to intercede between God and those who do not know God. The Gospel is simply the good news. A parable is a story with a lesson we can learn from and apply to our lives.

John spelled out in John 20:30-31 what signs are for, to convince the Jews that Jesus is the promised messiah.

I hope you are not preaching that to the gentiles now but instead, telling them to believe in 1 cor 15:1-4 as the good news.

That good news unfortunately, is not accompanied by signs

Signs don't cast out demons. Prophecy the word of God alone can cast out lying spirits . When people fall backward slain its a sign of judgement against them .If no one catches them it could out to be another kind of sign ."dead." Same with drinking poison.

Faith without works is dead. I don't quite understand your point, but I believe the Scripture and that 'those who know their God shall be mighty and do exploits'.
If you chose not to take it that way, so be it.

Jesus sent out the disciples to spread the gospel, and by extension, He sends out all believers to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.

The gospel is this: Jesus is God in the flesh, Who died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin, was buried, and on the third day rose from the dead. By believing this message by faith, we move from dead to alive in Christ and He fills us with His Holy Spirit Who empowers us to live lives pleasing to Him.

A parable is a story that conveys a specific spiritual truth using generic non-historical characters and situations.

Binding and loosing only function for those who are Jesus Christ Disciples. In other words, God has awarded this Believer with "Righteousness (Romans 4:5)" because their Faith is placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and the Finish Work at Calvary's Cross where the victory was won. Therefore this Believer receives the help of the Holy Spirit by the "Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus - Romans 8:2. This Believer is able to take authority over the demonic.

We have been given the keys of the Kingdom (Matthew 16:19). This gives us the authority to "bind" and "loose." "Binding" ties Satan's hands and stops his power to "steal, kill, and destroy," likewise, the "loosing" releases all that Jesus did at Calvary and the Resurrection. "Binding" has to do with the spirit world of darkness while "loosing" has to do with the Spirit world of Light. To "bind" means to restrict, stop, hinder, fetter, check, hold back, arrest, or put a stop to. To "loose" means to untie, unbind, unlock, liberate, release, forgive, or free.

We live by what Jesus Christ did by Grace through Faith Who loved us and gave Himself for us at the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won (Rom. 6:3-5, Philippians 1:21); His Obedience (Philippians 2:8, John 10:18), His Faith (Gal. 2:20-21), and His Love (Faith works by Love -Gal. 5:6). As the Body of Christ, we should be in agreement against the enemy and attacks such as this virus. Last Wednesday my online Pastor led the congregation in a prayer of agreement quoting Scriptures like 'Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. ' There is so much power in prayers of agreement There are a multitude of great Sriptures on victory, authority, protetion, etc.
If you'd like to share any such Scriptures, please do. I have so many I also will be posting.
We should be increasing our Faith not our fear.

You know, there are a great many good old mountain boys that are buried because of that first scripture about handling serpents? Because the other part in the bible reads, God is not mocked.

If this Coronavirus is what makes people wash their hands, we're in big trouble. Agreeing to not get sick is a great idea. Being healthy is a better one. God gave you an immune system. God also gave you doctors, medicine, and even foods and plants to serve as medicines. Why do you think that is?

Anyone ever watch that old Jim Carrie movie where Morgan Freeman played God? Carey's character switched places with God thinking it would be easy and fun to do God's job. Point is, the new god hears all this murmuring filling heaven and asks the real God what that is. People and their prayers! Beseeching for all manner of things.
And then you could actually start to hear some of those murmurs turn into voices, prayers. Give me the lottery numbers, find me a job, and on and on. People asking God to do all sorts of things that by and large, from what you heard, they could do for themselves.
So Carey-god decided to make it easy on himself and he granted all the prayers to come to fruition. What a chaotic bunch of mess that was.
But it was a very interesting point to be made also.

God doesn't answer all prayers because sometimes people need to go through what they're going through so as to come out better people on the other side of it.

And, if you can do it for yourself, why not make the effort? Let God take care of the really important prayers like, please let my child survive this round of Chemo when they're only five years old.

Jesus gave His Disciples dunamis (power), exousia (spiritual authority) and kratos (dominion, strength, power). God gave Jesus this anointing and Jesus has given it to us (followers that are His Disciples).

Dunamis heals the soul and body where it has been wounded by sickness, disease, trauma, and all infirmities. It also deals with all miracles. Dunamis means "excellent of soul." Philippians 3:10, Romans 8:11 NIV

Exousia deals with commanding all demonic forces to leave that have put a person in bondage and strongholds from their sins or however they got permission to afflict you. It gives spiritual authority to the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven to bind and loose in Heaven and Earth.

Kratos gives you dominion (jurisdiction). I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Joshua 1:3 NIV

Unbelief hinders spiritual authority. Never change the theology of the bible to accommodate something that did not happen based on the way you want it to do and the way you want it to be. Because Gods word is true and every man is a liar. Authority can never be released in silence. The bible says, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” The whole idea and reason why the Devil want the Christian believers to keep their mouth shut is because if you don’t speak, spirits don’t leave.
