A lot is happening with the world and a friend that I'm talking to always talks about his dream and visions of it being the end of the world. I am honestly scared because I just feel like I haven't done enough. Also, that friend said something about March 2020- November 2022 being the end. I honestly don't know what to think. I'm just terrified.
Is the end near with everything that's going on?

Your friend doesn't know anything. If he did he wouldn't give you such a broad time frame. Calm down, everything is in God's hands.
No need to fear. For the Christian to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Be urgent to proclaim the gospel to unsaved folks that they might come to know Christ as Savior and have peace that passes understanding.
While the pandemic is a sign of the end times it is not the end of the world. More to come and much more that is much, much worse. I believe that believers will be taken out before that time but I do know that only God knows when the end is to come.

The time frame you were given is incorrect, but yes, the end is drawing near. You still have a little time yet to do those things you think you ought do. Go do them and praise Jesus.
I haven't been a good Christian that's why I'm afraid. I try to be so but I go back to sin. I also don't even know much about the gospel to spread it to others. I guess that is why I am scared of the end because I feel like I don't love God. I don't have that fervent feeling for God I guess and I dislike myself for that.
You need to receive counseling and examine how you received Christ. If you believe that your salvation depends on you then you have cause to worry.
One must come to Christ without reservation, no holding back but casting all on Christ. Now you may just be lacking in sound biblical discipleship and that can be corrected. I cannot tell but I do counsel you to find a teacher who can teach you sound doctrine.

Correct, 2020 will not be the year of the end. Nevertheless be mindful that the end will be coming soon and the cup of the wine of the Lord's wrath against the increasingly wicked society will be poured down their throats for all their fornications which they shamelessly committed. Yea they all that drank from the cup of Babylon will also be forced to drink from the cup of trembling. Praise Jesus.
You're confused and the enemy is lying to you. None of us can be good through our own effort.
We must rely on Jesus through the power of The Holy Spirit. It's easy to become discouraged but don't be afraid!
Sometimes the valleys are low and long. You are worth a lot to The Lord. You don't have to compare yourself to others.
BTW, don't think everyone here has been so wonderfully perfect since the time we were saved. Many of us have been backsliders. If you don't know much about the gospel, then try reading it a bit more. Do you have a bible? The Holy Spirit will open your understanding.
Nothing about the Christian walk is about us. It's ALL about him. He can even use your mistakes to show you things. I don't mean that he wants you to sin or remain ignorant but he can & will meet you were you are and pull you through.
I'd just like to have a close, loving relationship with God but I don't know how exactly

Hi Bro, sounds like Jesus is dealing with you to get up and move towards Him .. The devil will torment you and speak lies to your mind , if your heart shows you the right thing vs your mind then you are to take every thought captive ''disciplined'', the devil is the liar .. You have to use Jesus name to rebuke those ungodly thoughts every day as often as it takes and you must learn the Word so you'll know what you're doing and what to pray .. That is part of being spiritually circumcised getting over the soreness . There's plenty of ministry you could get into ' Ministering is a double advantage .. You help others God's way and you will also learn the mind of Christ, if you get persecuted for Jesus sake it is a good thing knowing a little of what all He went through for you, you will develop your love for other Christians and Jesus .. God Bless .. Wait on the Lord and don't give up ..
