I don't know what game of thrones is about.
Trust me, you don't want to know.
I know about it because the question came up in an on-line article as to whether or not Christians should watch it.
I watch very little TV so I did not even know it existed, so I IMDB'd where you can read (graphic
) details about it.
Shocking, to say the least. It's a mystery to me why Christians even have to wonder if you can watch it or not to be holy as the Lord commands his people to be.
Still whatever a Christian watches, that act of watching it does not make them unsaved.
I agree.
But it may signify that a person does not have a saving relationship with God to begin with to ultimately keep them from watching it.
Or, they are saved, but watching it is hardening their heart and they are shrinking into unbelief which will eventually cause them to lose the benefit of Christ's ministry for them in heaven. If you don't think that can happen (that unbelief can cause you to lose justification in Christ) Paul explains to the Galatians who went back to the law for justification that they lose the benefit of justification through Christ by doing that. God is merciful as he sees fit ('I will have mercy on whom I have mercy'). He gave them room to repent and come back to their senses.
I don't know enough about game of thrones to form an opinion on if it is ok or not ok to watch.
If you think watching pornography is a sin then your opinion of Game of Thrones will be the same.
