The Resurrection Unto Damnation happens after the Millennium and is part of the White Thrown Judgement (which is for unbelievers only). The truth is not difficult or confusing. Error is what is convoluted and difficult.
Yep
A rapture does not work either post mil or post trib.

Yes it does and you have been shown.

I assume you have verses in your mind that supposedly support your beliefs.
...or you just oppose a pretrib rapture on the idea of it.
It does not mention a pre-trib rapture anywhere. Produce it if true.

What's your take on 2 Thess 2:3- re: the Restrainer being removed
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3–12 (KJV 1900)

I'm Amillennial. And believe the Papacy is the Antichrist who came about from the ruins of the Roman Empire. The restrainer was the Roman Empire who was taken out of the way. All of the Reformed, Lutherans, early Baptists and others hold this view and wrote it into their creeds. Islam is looming presently and could be part of this.

Yesterday (at the first posting of this), I didn't realize the big blue font was actually a link.

After you posted this again (and after my response of yesterday), I went and read the article.

He spent the first half (or a good portion of it) explaining how some people (lots of people :D ) conflate/confuse the "70 Years" prophecy (in the early parts of Daniel 9) with that of the "70 Weeks" prophecy starting later in chapter 9, thus coming to incorrect conclusions regarding it.

I can't say that I found anything terribly "off" about that article, especially in view of what I had placed (briefly) in my response already (that is, esp how the "69 Wks [TOTAL]" concluded on the very day Jesus DID the Zech9:9 thing, and SAID the Lk19:41-44 thing (i.e. on Palm Sunday--the TENTH day of the FIRST MONTH, thus fulfilling Exodus 12:2-6, the selection of the lamb/Lamb) [BOTH re: "the city [/Jerusalem]"--which is what the 2nd prophecy [the "70 WEEKS" prophecy] in Dan9 is stated to pertain to]).
I should have added, "Article Link" information so that the blue link font would be obvious. I know what you mean thought. Some folks use a blue font to post so that when a link font color appears it can be thought to just be more of a post.

I'm glad you found your way to the article. :) Blessings.

I'm Amillennial. And believe the Papacy is the Antichrist who came about from the ruins of the Roman Empire.
How can the papacy be the Antichrist when it has lasted for a lot longer that 3 1/2 years?

The Antichrist is given no more that 42 months (3 1/2 YEARS) to take control of the inhabitants of the world (which the papacy has never done).

REVELATION 13: THE FUTURE REIGN AND WORSHIP OF THE ANTICHRIST

BOTH SATAN (THE DRAGON) AND THE ANTICHRIST (THE BEAST) WILL BE WORSHIPED WORLDWIDE
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

THE ANTICHRIST WILL BE GIVEN 42 MONTHS TO DAMN THOSE WORSHIPERS
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

THE ANTICHRIST WILL BE THE ARCH BLASPHEMER OF GOD
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

THE ANTICHRIST WILL KILL THE TRIBULATION SAINTS WHILE HE HAS POWER OVER THE WHOLE EARTH
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH WILL WORSHIP THE ANTICHRIST
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Amillennialism is false doctrine derived by the Reformers from the Catholic Church. So if people believes one false doctrine, they will also hold on to other false teachings.

Hey, it worked for Leo the IXth in 1054, and I suppose Dr. Luther wasn’t about to be outdone by another German...
That could be very true. :giggle:
Imagine the ego that drafts a tradition after their interpretation of the Lord's words/work. Think of it. I'm the intercessor that encapsulates the Gospel truth in these simple rules.... Wow!

I was browsing novelty tee shirts as I sought to find a perfect birthday gift for my brother just recently. I wrapped this one and I think it fits. (Picture gorgeous white fluffy clouds, while the tee shirt reads)" I WONDER IF CLOUDS EVER LOOK DOWN ON US AND SAY, HEY LOOK, THAT ONE'S SHAPED LIKE AN IDIOT!"
I'd have surely bought one for John, Leo and Luther. Then I'd have run for the hills so that I don't end up as the source for someone's toasted marshmallow party after.

There are lower case 'a' antichrist in scripture and the big one, the upper case "A" Antichrist of Revelation.
Maybe all the popes are the lower case. Maybe the upper case is this current one, since in the history of the RCC he's the first Jesuit elected to the office of pope.
Or, maybe the upper case Antichrist isn't an individual but rather a political ideology that asks as an identity in itself. Like in America we have, Democrats, Republicans, Green Party, etc... What if the Antichrist is a political ideology that enters in and seduces the whole world like both a drug and a cult ideology, as well as being a political form that contains a people within its ideals.

How much do you know about Church history and the Papacy. All the Reformers, early Baptists, Methodists knew the Antichrist when they saw him and all of their creeds say it is the Papacy.

Numbers in Revelation are symbols, not understood literally.

Rapture Top Dogs Admit no Proof Exists.

Anyone looking for direct scripture support of the famed Pre-Trib Rapture will come up empty handed. Admits Rapture heavyweight John Walvoord in his book called The Rapture Question (Findlay, OH:1957, p.148). He agrees with G. E. Ladd saying;

"Ladd, in contrast to Jones, concedes that post-tribulalional rapture is an inference rather than an explicit revelation of Scripture in the following statement:

"Nor does the Word explicitly place the Rapture at the end of the Tribulation."

“The fact is that neither posttribulalionism nor pretribulationisim is an explicit teaching of Scripture. The Bible does not in so many words state either.”

“Pretribulationism is based on the fact that it allows a harmony of the Scriptures relating to the Second Advent.”

“The separation of the translation from the return of Christ to earth permits each of the two events so different in character, to have its own place.”

“It solves the problem of the confusing and contradictory details in the post-tribulational interpretation illustrated in the difficulty of the postribulationist's themselves to work out a harmony of prophecies related to the second advent."

Another Rapture heavy-weight, Tim LaHaye says the same:

"One objection to the pre-Tribulation Rapture is that not one passage of Scripture teaches the two aspects of His Second Coming separated by the Tribulation. This is true. But then, no one passage teaches a post-trib or mid-trib Rapture, either."

Tim LaHaye, No Fear of the Storm: Why Christians Will Escape All the Tribulation (Sisters, OR: Multnomah, 1992), 69. This book was later republished as Rapture Under Attack). “That’s Not in the Bible” Gary DeMar

So despite the fact millions of books claiming the rapture flew off the shelves in the face of the failed prophecies surrounding them, why do millions of Christians believe as scripture truth the claims put forth by these?

If you believe in the pre-trib rapture, how do you support it with scripture when these cannot?
the 'rapture' refers to bring caught up to meet the Lord in the air as I Thessalonians 4 says That passage I'd proof of the rapture just not the pretrib theory.

I am sorry to state this😢
I at one time believed in the pretrib rapture but I'm not sure anymore.
I know that followers of God and many Christians have suffered through terrible tribulations and persecutions.
I think the scripture we choose today makes it too easy on today's people as a whole.
We may have personal trials in our lives and even suffer some persecution sometimes though not unto death.
I do believe He will keep us from God's wrath, that is the cup Jesus drank in the garden for we are born of sin,and His wrath will consume the world bc of sin and rejection.
Is this a true mystery of God shrouded in scripture?
I know the verses that rapture theories quote but I'm having doubt.

The rapture happens after the resurrection on the last day.

Well, the Reformation would tend to generate that idea wouldn't it?
The first written history suggests Arnulf, the archbishop of Reims in the 10th century identified the Papacy as the Antichrist. Later Joachim of Fiore in the 12th century preached the Papacy was the Antichrist. This led to the martyrdoms of many Albigenses, Anabaptists and others who in part embraced his views. And the archbishop Eberhard II in 1240 also related the papacy to the Antichrist. Synopsis of the End Times; A look at the popular beliefs of today by Mike Morrill.
