would you consider yourself a classical or acts 2 dispensationalist?

Yes, Luther's cliche. You are using the well known cliche “I am saved by faith alone but the faith that saves is never alone.”
Yes, Luther's cliche.
I would alter it slightly to put the emphasis on justification itself: I am justified by faith alone apart from works, bu the faith that justifies is never alone. But many people in the church today are sure that true justifying faith does not have to result in works of righteousness for it to be a true justifying faith. Paul didn't even believe that:
The only thing that counts (towards justification-see context) is faith expressing itself in love (the summation of the law). - Galatians 5:6
The kind of faith that justifies is the faith that will find it's expression in righteous works of love. If your faith is not doing that, you do not have the faith that justifies apart from works that you think you have.
Scripture saith not,
You got some weird doctrine man.
Lost people can only appear to do works, from a human standpoint to God they are bloody rags,
you miss james whole context
yeah I am, because I had faith in God to save me. And have faith God who started a good work in me will complete it. And he will keep his promiseYou go on trying to justify yourself in the eyes of others. I’m justified before God and that’s all that matters. I’m sure you are as well.
See post #4,547. - https://christianchat.com/bible-dis...need-to-keep-the-law-of-moses.185392/page-228Scripture saith not,
Heb 10:26 For if we are willfully sinning after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Scripture saith we. As to include the writer and all to whom he speaks.
The verse starts with the word for. This word is used to assign a reason for something that was previously stated.
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
The before mentioned "we" in verse 26 is being stated in context to "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together" We are to come together to exhort one another and so much the more as we see the day approaching.
For (Because) if we are willfully sinning after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
(Heb 10:26-29)
We the Sanctified are not to forsake the assembling ourselves together as the manner of some but our to come together and exhort one another daily as we see the day approaching. For if we, the sanctified are willfully sinning there is no more sacrifice for sins. Only a fearful looking forward to judgement and fiery indignation from our GOD which shall devour HIS adversaries which we are if we are willfully sinning. Thus saith the LORD not I.
No, answer what you replied to or don't. If you reply GOD willing we will answer when and if time permits.
Lol it has been shown so many times to him alone it is crazy how he would think that verse means you can sin then become "unsaved"..
You can't be born again again again again...
We are saved once, made sons of God and then He as our Father corrects us....
People like @lightbearer won't remove their goggles and it becomes the same argument where they build fruiess speeches off of false narratives.![]()

not this “Gods faith“ stuff you made up

What part of Jesus being Savior do you not understand? You believe your works get you salvation and you are simply wrong. Give the credit where the credit is due ~~ Jesus Christ.you got five likes on that post. That is funny too and quite telling.
Rather than say I am deceived Prove I am deceived please.
A friend of mine proclaims Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and does so unapologetically. He’s an usher at his house of worship and gives the shirt off his back to help those in need.Yes, me too.
But back to what we were talking about.
The point is, the faith that justifies is the faith that changes a person's works/fruit. Even Paul said that...
The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. - Galatians 5:6
But so many people believe that they were justified by a faith that doesn't express itself through love, and doesn't have to, in fact, never has to for them to be saved. But John explains that if you are not changed that way then you aren't really justified in Christ.
If it was Jesus faith we would all be saved. Because he has enough faith to save allIt’s the faith of Jesus Christ. His faith never waivers, our puny faith waivers week by week, day by day, moment by moment. I’m not relying on my faith but His faith.
Amen! 1 Timothy 1:9 - Receiving the end of (Jesus faith? - NO) "receiving the end of YOUR faith--the salvation of your souls."If it was Jesus faith we would all be saved. Because he has enough faith to save all
I am once again done with this
Convo
good day
How is getting drunk, cheating on his wife, and abusing his dog righteous works of faith? How do those things validate his faith as the faith that justifies? If he had the faith that justifies all by itself apart from works he would not be living in that life style.A friend of mine proclaims Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and does so unapologetically. He’s an usher at his house of worship and gives the shirt off his back to help those in need.
This same friend gets drunk on a regular basis, cheats on his wife and abuses his dog. Does this man have salvation?
Amen! 1 Timothy 1:9 - Receiving the end of (Jesus faith? - NO) "receiving the end of YOUR faith--the salvation of your souls."
