No one can accept eternal salvation, and no one can reject eternal salvation. Salvation, according to the Greek, means "a deliverance". We are delivered eternally by God's sovereign grace, without man's acceptance, and we are delivered many times from the things of this world, as we sojourn here in this world.
Repenting of breaking a spiritual law only comes from the spiritual man. 1 Cor 2:14, says that the natural man, before he has been regenerated to a spiritual life cannot repent of breaking a spiritual law that he cannot discern, and thinks the things of the spirit are foolishness.
What did Jesus mean in John Chapter 15 that He is the Vine and anyone that does not remain in Him will be cut off and thrown into the fire? Of course I just gave a synopsis of that.
Matthew and Mark were not written to the natural man, 1 Cor 2:14, that cannot discern the things of the Spirit, but were written to the spiritually born children of God, who can discern what is written. All of the divinely inspired scriptures are written to those that can understand the things of the Spirit, and not to the natural man that has not been born again, and has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
A lot of the scriptures are written "about the natural man", but are not written to the natural man.

Everyone’s thinking is clouded by their bias. All of Scripture is interpreted through that bias lens. What one thinks of God is the most important question. The next is what do we think about ourselves. Till these two questions are adequately and properly answered, all of Scripture is subjective.

This is after the resurrection. God started to open their minds to the truth of the cross. But they still didn't understand it in its entirety. My question to you is, what is the gospel of the kingdom that the disciples were preaching before the cross and only to the Jews? Is it the same message of the d,b,r for sins?
Is the gospel of the kingdom the same message as the gospel of grace? If so, you must rectify that the disciples had no clue of the cross before it happened? The gospel of grace is specifically how Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day.
I tend to believe literally when scripture calls for it. Do a lot of people have a subjective view of certain passages, of course. The real question would be to what evidence is there to support their view.

My intent was to start a conversation with regards to a specific topic. Could I be wrong? Of course. Do I believe there is sufficient evidence to support my claim? Yes. It’s not a matter if I’m right or if I am wrong. It is what it is.
Most of God's born again children have turned away from the law of Christ, back to the old law of works. Galatians 1, Paul talks of this. Gal i:6, I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel; Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
These that are children of God, and have turned away, have not lost their promise of eternal inheritance, but they have lost their fellowship with God, temporarily, until they repent. We will never understand the grace of God, until we understand how depraved we are by our nature.
Promise of eternal inheritance is not eternal inheritance.The promise is for everyone (whosoever) but the inheritance is not for everyone but those that persevere to the end. These things are written not because some are in danger of losing the promise but they are in danger of losing the inheritance itself which is only achieved at the very end:
Heb 10:36You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
Fire is a purifier. 1 Cor 3:11-15, For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; (another gospel) Every man's work shall be made manifest; for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss (non fellowship with God) but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Matt 7:13-14, fits in with this same teaching; All of those that go into both gates are born again children of God. Those that go in the wide gate are those that are teaching and preaching the false doctrine of eternal salvation by the good works of man, and those that go in the straight gate are those that have been revealed, and understand, the true doctrine of Christ, which leads them to an abundant and peaceful life as they sojourn here on earth. Both gates have inherited eternal life, but those in the broad way are not fellowshipping with their God.
I think you’re contrasting to different verses and coming to an incorrect conclusion. In Israel during that time, everyone knew of the importance of a vineyard. If the vines were not producing fruit, they would be cut off as they were useless and hence thrown into a fire.
The foundation Paul is taking about is the Gospel and those who dwell in Christ. Their works will be tested by fire and be shown for what they are. The fires in each passage represent two different things.

I only know of one gospel and one kingdom of God/Heaven in scripture.
