Going to work but not for my salvation...that is a done deal ....how blessed we are, those that have accepted Jesus' offer of eternal life and knowing we are secure in Him.
"I pahked my cah at the pahk then wahked to the bah..."
You see the @PS talks about laying down his life daily for Christ, it is not about faith in Christ to save but about his own working for salvation.
We do not, cannot earn our salvation. When I said I would lay down my life for Jesus, I meant I would go anywhere, and do anything for him, whatever the consequences.@PS you gave a red X ... Please explain.
Is not laying down your life daily not trying to earn or maintain salvation, are not you doing something in order to receive something?

True. Sadly, people seek measures to return themselves to health when suffering a malady that can have taken years to acquire. And far later that they become aware of due to the onset of acute symptoms that may have been ignored. Now, they're desperate to survive or quash the suffering. Understandable. I would submit, especially so if one has ever witnessed someone they care about suffer chronic illness.
I'm doing what I said I'd stop doing. Leading this thread further into a different topic.
Colloidal Silver is also referred to as Nanosilver. The difference is only in the size of the silver particles used.

Stop it with your error. God can do anything. He can remove such grace as we might have, he can send us to Hell, and he gave us free will to either accept Him, reject Him or change our mind. You are not God to say what He can and cannot do like the Pharisees tried to do with Jesus. Just who do you think you are, judging people and telling them they are either right or wrong? An honorable sentiment... however
salvation is not earned and neither can it be forfeited.

This is saying we must earn Gods graceStop it with your error. God can do anything. First of all telling someone they are according to scripture is not judging them.
Secondly you are creating a different God....no one here is denying the sovereignty of God and we can certainly cannot know all His ways....HOWEVER we can trust HIS Word and His Word is very clear we are saved, we can not forfeit nor does He revoke His gift of salvation nor our standing as righteous and in His Grace.
Have you ever heard the expression he is a man of his word.....well He is a God of His Word.
It is you who needs to stop making God into some petulant child who does not know his own mind.
If it can be forfeited it must’ve earned
Why is this so hard for some to understand
PS said salvation cannot be earned, you followed by saying salvation cannot be earned, then PS gives you a Red X. The magnitude of his sociopathic tendencies is alarming. An honorable sentiment... however
salvation is not earned and neither can it be forfeited.
There is an old adage from people who try to mock God. Such people ask if God can make a rock so big that He is unable to lift it. It’s a paradoxical impossibility because either God can’t make a rock so big or He can but then fittingly not able to lift it.God can do anything.
Maybe PS stands for Pounds of Snow.Well, this snow-balled quickly..![]()
You are not judge and jury. You do not throw your weight around, you are not in charge, it is a discussion forum, and you do not dictate theology especially this.First of all telling someone they are according to scripture is not judging them.

The false doctrine, that a child of God cannot so sin as to fall from God's grace and be eternally lost, is a lie of Satan. This same lie was told by Satan in the Garden of Eden to Eve, when he said "You will not surely die" (Genesis 3:4). Satan told Eve that disobedience to God would not result in death, but it did. This false doctrine is also referred to as “once saved, always saved” or “the impossibility of apostasy”. This is one of the many lies Satan tells today to cause many people to be eternally lost. Satan wants us to be complacent and not be concerned about being lost. When Satan accomplishes this he has the battle won with us.
