He struggled with it? So he desires to stop? So he hates it, he counts it an enemy? Then it is a besetting sin.

So second option is possible, just like I said it was!
This should settle the issue. I think we all agree on this.

Heb 10:26-27 ISV
(26) For if we choose to go on sinning after we have learned the full truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
(27) but only a terrifying prospect of judgment and a raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
listen genius....if you are gping to post scripture out of context do not waste our time with your drivel.....the context of this verse-->THOSE THAT COUNT THE BLOOD OF JESUS A COMMON ORDINARY BASE THING AND FORSAKING THE ASSEMBLY....

I am so sick of your blather and devaluation of Jesus and his blood and scriptural ignorance and rejection of context to peddle error!!!

So the people this verse describes were never born again. Is that your view?

Which was beyond scripture?

A. A professed Christian living in sin? no

B. A person who thinks they’re saved and not? No

C. Eternal security? No

So what exactly did I add to the Bible?

Nothing.
My point....your scenario is not needed to explain any point the bible already explains and makes in full detail......wr have examples of this in scripture....DAVID is one such example and this event in David did not happen over night....The prodigal is another such case.....at no time was he dead, and or not a son by birth.....HIS ACTIONS, LIVING IN SIN AND REBELLION was over a period of time and yet he was vety much alive and only PERCEIVED as dead.......

The context ->>>Hebrews wanting to go back under an inferior way.....the writer goes to great lengths to state....outside of Jesus there is No sacrifice for sins....and where did I state they were unbelievers.......THE WHOLE BOOK is written to HEBREW believers to show the supeior position of Christ and an available position of REST afforded believers in this life!

Agree with all this. The rub does not appear to be with that. The rub with people appears to be the first part, ie is it possible that if I do such things I am not saved

The Bible explained that too. And you answered that part.

Listen whose talking. The Bible is spot on. You are not. Your dismay proves the authority of scripture.

Yes, you explained it very well. And, I absolutely agree..

What about the verse in the Bible where Jesus says in Matthew 24:13 that "But he shall who endure to the end shall be saved?"

Does that still highlight OSAS?

Honestly, Once Saves, Always Saved...does confuse me a little bit🤔
The context of Matthew 24 is the great tribulation and perserving until the end and remaining alive it has nothing to do with the salvation of the spirit......and this is a hard truth...the reason most get this wrong is two fold......

a. Salvation losers like to use this erroneously to peddle a false view

b. God's people will endure the great tribulation as the bible does not peddle an imminent return where we go poof......

So they were believers. Ok. I’m with you so far

Then if apostasizing in that manner means wrath, and Jesus delivered us from the wrath to come, would any believer PERMNANTLY do what Paul warned against? Would they do it at all? Separate questions.

I say definitely no to permenent apostasy.
