I really do not get the sense that was what you were after.. the question seemed to be more around if such a person was actually saved ... I personally think hypothetical statements are best used in grade eight science class.
Paul told the Corinthians to examine themselves whether they were in the faith. Take it up with him if you have issues with me saying that if a person can blithely leave his wife and become an harlot, or if a man can be a habitual liar, or unforgiving, or a blasphemer or a sorcerer or a thief, that such an one does well to take inventory and make sure he is not an unregenerate person. The Bible is clear about those who practice such things. Add that to your doctrine and keep osas and you do well. Because what the Bible says about practices of such things is just as biblical as Jesus loses none of His own
