What about the night they took Jesus ? , what did all the disciples do ? , they fell away from Him , they fled in shock , in doubt , Peter denying Him 3 times , and yet we are , reading the wonderful Gospels ...

I believe in Jesus when He said " Not one will I lose " , you do not trust in Jesus to keep you , you doubt God , you live in fear , satan torments you , he loves it when we doubt our LORD and Savior , find peace in Jesus , rest in Him ...
You would need to be one of the sheep given to Jesus by the Father.

Your friends the false teachers.
it could be your friends

Actually. Like you. they believed it was how good we are that determines our salvation. That unless we repent we can backslide and our salvation is not secured.

My belief does not resemble anything like this.

If your going to make an accusation, At least pic a greoup that actually resembles my faith..

I meant EG offered nothing. The Bible, as you say, offers lots of guidance.
You are kind. Sometimes knowledge is used like a baseball bat while walking across a field.
You wonder what you did as the blows reign down and the words it is for your own good are used.

Cut and bruised you withdraw only to discover the people claimed they were your friends and loved you.
No chance there, indoctrinated and emotionally determined to put people in their place 100% true.

John 10:16
I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.

Yep that`s me , in His fold , in His tender loving care , where NO ONE can snatch me from Him , forever and ever eternally secure...

How powerful is God?

Some will say He is able to make you perfect, completely, 100%, no flaws or issues today, and to not believe He does this is unbelief, watering down the power of God. Problem is saying God can do this, and then finding excuses why He does not is much harder.

God has made a covenant with us and will deliver us perfect on the last day, as He teaches us and walks with us through our daily lives and having fellowship with Him and with His body. If we were not 100% involved we would never be like Him, or be made in His image.

It is why the enemy uses every strategy to get you to try and disown what Christ has made, His loving, cleansed, purified friend, called to be His ambassador of His presence and love on earth until He calls you home. Amen

Jesus died for the vilest sinner and if it had been Hitler on the cross instead of the repentant thief, He would be with Christ eternally, his sins which were many, forgiven. However, if Hitler had backslidden, that would be his end. Just make sure you always remain secure in the arms of Jesus.
You give me a red cross for saying the above. That just goes to show how little you know about our Lord and Saviour who said:

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isa 1:18-20

Then in the next two verses we read if we disobey that is the end of us. And that is the end of OSAS.

(19) If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: (20) But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Much of what I know of heresies within the church has been acquired in the years that I've been on Christian Chat. Typically persons who are in churches that are doctrinally strong won't have knowledge of them unless their church works to familiarize their congregation with common heresies.
. . .
I never heard of that Serpent Seed Heresy, either. Thank You for the education.

POWERFUL ENOUGH to make OSAS Born Again Theology, Happen FOR REAL, AND INFINITELY MORE THAN THAT.

1 Peter 1:3-5 (HCSB)
3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
5 You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

It happened in the early church. We are beset by temptation on every hand. Nobody could say then, or now, that they are eternally secure as you claim to be. Please do not make the claim that Once Saved, you are Always Saved. These people were Christians, saved by the blood of the Lamb, but they were warned they might never inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal 5:16-26
(16) This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
(17) For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
(18) But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
(19) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
(20) Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
(21) Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
(24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
(26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

There is no way he was going to backslide, his future with Christ is assured.
You have a serious failing when it comes to recognizing the magnitude of God’s grace. Jesus addresses the fact that many will backslide yet God will not lose one of His own.

This particular young lady had several issues. I had a conversation with her last year where she said we were the fallen angels, and that our punishment was to be in these human bodies.

She got all that from Jeremiah 4 I think, which admittedly is a difficult passage.
If we’re fallen angels Jesus would tell us so. People and their off the wall viewpoints are entertaining yet annoyingly dangerous nonetheless.

I believe God will change you. He who began a good work will complete it. Not might

Unlike your Buddy PS who claims we can overpower God and fall away ending up in Hell

Do not think you read all PS posts.
I have read some about the saints are saved forever. But in a world of flak and attacks it is not a proper consideration and respect of people. As far as our interactions go, not seen a proper consistent playing field yet, so not chances for meaningful exchange.
