There is nothing at all in Scripture about Isaac tithing. In Genesis 28, Jacob promised to tithe if God did this and that, but there is no record that he ever fulfilled his promise.

If we were to do the works that Abraham did, we would not tithe on our income, because Abraham did not tithe on his income. He tithed one time to Melchizedek, and only on the spoils of war.
I can certainly see your position with regards to Abraham. Christians follow and belong to Christ. When Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees, he was calling them out for their hypocrisy. They said Abraham was their Father. Well as the Jewish Leaders, they were not doing as Abraham did. Also, they were not believing in Jesus claims about himself. No where in the New Covenant are we Christians are called to tithe. We give as to what our hearts determines what we should give. Of course we should give out love for our Father, but Jesus nor the Apostles gave a commandment to do so.
There are many people who think they have to tithe simply because it's in the law. And I figger if you're going to do it for that reason you ought to at least do it the way the law says to do it. And that means eating your own tithe for two years (and giving some of it to the Levites), and in the third year (called the year of the tithe-Deuteronomy 26:12) putting all of your tithe in store somewhere to be distributed to the Levites (those in ministry), orphans, and widows.
Which technically is no longer a 'tenth', but who's here to split hairs, right?
