2 Peter 2:22
Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.”
Pure supposition on your part, and your wrong again.
It's a reference to what you do here daily.
Proverbs 26:11
As a dog returns to his own vomit, So a fool repeats his folly.
Here's another one for you...
Proverbs 26:12
Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
Thanks for proving my point. And this proves once saved always saved how?
The fruit of the Spirit is what it's all about. For a few years I worked with people who had physical handicaps and others with learning difficulties. How are they going to do any works? They couldn't get out of a wheel-chair without help.
No, he was attacking instead of engaging our discussion.its talking about dog not sheep i believe was his point
The Father draws us to Jesus, who then raises us to spiritual life, resulting in a new creation. And the object of our faith is Him, not in our act of believing
Was hot yesterday...had 50c at about 430.....even with two aircons and two fans was still borderline miserable in the house.......took till almost 8 pm to cool off enough to be comfortable
There is no discussion to be had with you.No, he was attacking instead of engaging our discussion.
He would have been better off utilizing the passage as once saved always saved does.
Which is what I addressed, and instead of engaging the discussion about it he chose to attack instead.
Good question.whats the difference between debate and discussion?
Actually, I'm here to offer those not directly engaged in the discussion the truth they are not hearing about the fallacy of once saved always saved. See, most in the church live in the box of their own little doctrinal constructs that their particular denomination has taught them, and they never get to hear any other possible understandings and insights of these kinds of subjects. I was like that to some extent once, though it was really more of a self imposed doctrinal restriction. Then I saw, thanks to the internet, how there are other honest and reasonable interpretations to various scriptures for which I was sure there could be no other way to look at them. You are here for the sake of debate, not discussion.
I think the implication is that 'debate' is emotional and combative, while 'discussion' is calm and scholarly.whats the difference between debate and discussion?
Then you are in the wrong thread.Actually, I'm here to offer those not directly engaged in the discussion the truth they are not hearing about the fallacy of once saved always saved.
I don't think you would like the heat...it is oppressive and the constant smoke in the air gives you a head ache almost every day.......not good.....the fires have burned almost 14 million acres.....it is surrealYou want to trade places ? ? ?
Then you are in the wrong thread.
Maybe I am. That had occurred to me.Then you are in the wrong thread.
Man its not a out wining the fight.
"If a man does not bridle his toungue this man's religion is vain." If you cant bridle your toungue, there is mo way you would have self control. Self control is a fruit of the Spirit from dweling in God, and you agred that we would have a fight.
Morning blue.......and back at ya.....955 AM Monday here in Australia.....
why do you go back and forth all the time? do you got some work there
I cannot see who you are talking to because I have some on ignore, all I know is that there are some who do the same to us, as others did to the apostles. One thing I do know, is that the Bible tells us, "they are not one of us."
