What you said about playing amazing grace is thought provoking, if you had not heard the words to amazing grace beforehand would you have known it was amazing grace being played on the violin?
Probably not.

And then it probably would not have as profound an effect as if I did know the words.

I can tell you don’t play an instrument, or at least not with other people, when people play instruments together just the music without words, it is equally a joyful feeling, it’s a connection duel harmonies played in key and it is felt in the enter being of a person a bit more than speaking then feeling if that makes sense.

Everyone can play music some are more experienced with playing rather verbally or with sounds. with in music no matter the devise the rhythm harmony is key, with out it it’s like a squeaky gate. almost anything can be used as a device for music, even two spoons for eating.

I don’t think evil appreciates music, it’s a tool for its symphony of destruction.
======================
in the 'world', there is (art-poetry-music) and much of it is very 'pleasant to look upon and to hear' - but even so,
it is 'worldly inspired', although originally a gift from our Heavenly Father, it is certainly NOT always used for
God's purposes', but it is often used for 'self-glory and numerous agendas that are 'opposing God's Will'...

the point is, we can be familiar with it and even enjoy it, and even discern from it, 'what is good, and what is evil' -
as it is written:
ACTS 17:28.
For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring.'

even 'the world' has a limited wisdom that can appreciate God's Power' - but for the 'called and chosen', we are
NOT TO BE ENTANGLED in the world's 'deceptive agendas'...

I think That is pretty much a given that not all music is inspired by God no debate about that.

here’s something to think about even the devise David used wasn’t from God but a man made it

But in each case above words were employed. Or are you saying that David was able to formulate words on a stringed instrument?
There may be some other methods besides speaking. The apocrypha has Raphael in disguise use fish smell in Tobit, not that I recommend that.

David MIGHT have sung the psalms as he played. We do not know.

Today's music ain't warding off nothing. It's weak as a sick cat and sounds like one too.

I know this much God doesn’t create earthly instruments like the guitar piano violin the tuba. these are devises through human imaginations to express ones inter harmony

Well that’s were faith comes in to play, scripture says when David played it, Just because David wrote lyrics doesn’t mean he used them every time he played his instrument.

Jesus would heal others with a mere word and at others times he used mud knowing he could just speak it and it would of been so.

Yes perhaps, but even in that case it would take words to make instrumental music worldly or spiritual, and then, only by association.

as we both are musicians, we would say that our music does not always need lyrics to be understood Spiritually -
look at Handel's Messiah' - God can certainly speak to us through our minds, whether the language be
'musical-poetic-artistic-parable-mechanical - Yeshua has an endless vocabulary in endless realms in order
to teach us of His Holy ways...

Right, but I have made it clear by now that I am referring to the instrumental aspect only.

While playing perhaps, but not with their instruments, otherwise someone would need to give an interpretation lol.

That would be up for interpretation. Do you think taking a demon possessed person to Handel's Messiah or Bach's Christmas Oratorio would do the trick? (see my OP)

This, of course would depend upon God's Will...
David playing for his own purpose or will would have no effect, 'it is the Faith of Christ that removes demons'...
either forever or temporarily ...
