Hello to all members!
I am new in this forum , and I started to discover this forum just now that I need a light 💡 in my life . My name is Klara and I am Christian from 2011. I love the God and he has done many miracles on my life , I am greatful for all he has done on my life . 8 years ago I married to my actual husband (not the same religion as me) and we have 2 children , 3 and 2 years old .During our marriage he was practicing his religion and I was beliving on our savior Jesus there was no problem between us for the religion .i stayed strong on my religion even if I lived in places that Christianity isn’t for them a religion. Now I am struggling cuz I have 2 children and I want them to be Christian as me but my husband (different religion) saying that the children will take his religion . I don’t know how to help my children to teach them for Christianity and Jesus Christ , I can’t even take them to church as my husband is telling me “if u take them to church I will take them to the place where I go to pray as well “so pls what advice can give me ? As I noticed lately my husband started to do his ritual of pray Infront of my children everywhere they are he is going beside them and he is praying Infront of them even if it is too much noise around the room area where my children is playing, i belive he is doing this on purpose but I can’t tell him anything for why he is doing that . Please any advice for me to keep my children on my religion ? I feel so alone as I am in this situation all alone and don’t know what to do to direct my children’s to Christianity .pls advice

pray for all three of them and preach the gospel to all three of them.
the ideal situation would be for your husband to get saved and then teach the children about Jesus together with you.
so i would most definitely tell him (and the children) about who Jesus is, what he did, and why they need him.

and pray, pray, pray!!!!!!

Thank you for your advice . My husband religion I can’t change it, as he is as the old tree roots ,but I want to save my children, I pray , but again I feel with no power at all . What is worse that is hurting me is that I can’t teach my children to pray and to talk for Jesus cuz somehow they will show it to my husband . I feel like I am hiding and this is a feeling that I don’t want to feel cuz I really proud and happy to have Jesus on my heart . I want to sing song of God to my children’s and to sing with them but I can’t .

i try to put myself in the same situation. I honestly dont think I would marry a Muslim for instance in the first place. Now just saying i did go ahead. if it came to disrespectful indoctrination of children without my consult, that spells divorce immediately. But there would be other red flags of such control freak behaviour I suspect.

When I married my husband I never thought for this situation will come. Is a new situation now that I have children and I want to teach them my religion but I find my husband as barrier, in this case . If I teach them anything for Christianity he will start to teach and talk to them for his religion ( which I don’t prefer to mention it as it isn’t important to me).

you can't change your husband, but Jesus can!
stand firm in your faith. as your children get older and become more inquisitive, they will begin to learn that their parents do not have the same beliefs. trust in the Lord and yield to his spirit!

I am “trapped “ as my husband is practicing his pray infront of their eyes on purpuse so they can see him and sometimes they as doing what he is doing as they think that their father is playing with them in that way. This is the most miserable scene that I see sometimes and I can’t even talk to him but I keep ignoring what he isn’t doing while my heart inside is boiling as I don’t what to see my children doing what he is doing . I feel with no power at all .even when I am praying I am feeling less power for this situation.

This is a very awkward situation. All I can do is advise what I would do. And I fear the children will suffer the most.
I couldnt just stand there and watch him "steal"your kids. I would have to leave the home with or without the kids. A terrible time for your kids. you might have to go to a womans refuge if you dont feel safe.

"And, when and if there is a culture difference in faith, it would seem of great importance
to discuss before entering into a meaningful relationship, and concerns of raising a family,
before, and not after entering into a relationship. And, when God's love is vacant in 'Anyone',
expect consequences when trying to change one that has not the true Love of Jesus Christ
within. And, there are many with false claims, as the 'adversary' has many 'faces' of deception.!"

Thank you for that . I feel that I am taking the consequences of my “wrong” choose of marriage. Just now that I become a mother and I want to teach my children , I understand that how important it is to marry with someone who is having same religion as u. But I don’t want to surrender ever and with God help I am trying to find out any solution .

Can I ask why you didn't know beforehand, that he had a different religion and that any kids you would have together would suffer for it?? You DID know his religion was different from yours, before you even married him?

Yes I was aware but as he was respecting my religion I never thought that when I will have my children I will be in this kind of “ tight” situation to talk to them for Jesus and to teach them for God . As I mention before I never thought this situation but just now that I am mother I understand in what troubles I put my self into that’s why I need advices to help me for any solution.

"Thank you for being you, and for your response. So long as we know and strive to keep the
'nearness' of God within ourselves, and to pray for guidance, with patience and calmness,
we shall come to know of peace and, all is well...believe it!"

Every word is so beautiful. Just makes me to cry , on how much God is loving me and he is still giving me the strength to love and keep him on my heart . I wish God will do his miracles and makes my children’s to know him and to have in their life’s Jesus . Amen

Well, we can't really give you any advice, since GOD is the one you should be seeking advice from. Have you told your husband that you want the kids raised as Christians? What did he say?

Yes of course I have said this to him , but as I want my children to have my religion he want to have them as per his religion. We didn’t come in any conclusion cuz I end up by having hard talks with him when it comes to this topic rather then any solution or conclusion.
