Biblical modesty went when the world started running into Churches and we started conforming to the world and their standards.
Times are different.
How it is today: "This is not wrong because *excuse excuse excuse*
How it was before: "Yes I am doing wrong, I realize that."
I personally believe the person who does wrong, keeps doing that wrong but admits what they are doing is wrong is in a better position than the one making excuses, because knowing it is wrong, it is leaving open that door of repentance later on. The guy making excuses will never repent, because he has been self-deceived into thinking there is nothing to repent from.
