EXPOSE THEM

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. Ephesians 5:11-12

For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 2 Thessalonians 2:7

For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. Jude 1:4

1.Who are the antiChrists and deceivers referred to in 2John 1:7-11 and 1John 4:1-6?

2.What do they teach?

3.How can we recognize them

The antiChrists do not acknowledge that Christ came in the flesh.

It has caught my attention that some who claim to be Christians no longer include the word LIFE whenever they explain what the Gospel means to them. They would simply say that it is about the DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION of Christ.

If the Gospel of our salvation is the word of Truth, would it still be the truth without the LIFE part?

It could be possible that the intention to disregard the LIFE part is to deceive the believers that it is only through faith in His DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION will one be saved and not by works because they are just filthy rags. These people would separate Faith from works as they do to the LIFE, separating it in disregard from the DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION whenever they assert their doctrine of salvation through FAITH ALONE.

Obviously, the LIFE that Jesus lived on this earth is in total obedience and submission to what the FATHER commanded Him to do in accordance to His will and eternal purpose or plan.

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. Hebrews 5:7-9

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 3:10-11

And what's "through the church" referring to?

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Ephesians 4:11-16

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 1 Peter 2:21

Does a Christian have to suffer and walk as Jesus did?

...Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. 1 John 2:3-6

It is God's command from the beginning that we must walk in love as Jesus did

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.2 John 1:6

But what do these antiChrist teach? They say that once you are saved the moment you believed in Christ Jesus our Lord, you will always be saved and have already possessed eternal life.

This is a clear disregard for the command of God to walk in love wherein love is to walk in obedience to His commands.

Do they acknowledge Christ's coming in the flesh by saying that faith alone saves and once saved, always saved? That no one can keep God's laws and therefore calling those who obey and teach obedience to God, names to insult, mock, slander and judge them as if they have done such a grave offense to their God by doing so?

Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 2 John 1:7-11

These people have ran ahead by claiming to have already possessed eternal life which exempts them from facing judgment on the great day. They claim that their sins in the past, present and future have all been forgiven...no need to repent and ask for forgiveness anymore.

They have not continued in Christ's teachings. Theiir teachings are but rules taught by men and they have nullified the words of God such as His laws given to Moses for all Israel and they do many things like that.

The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 1 John 4:1-2

DO YOU TAKE AWAY THE" LIFE" (lived and walked in obedience to God's commands) FROM THE GOSPEL?
Really really well put together and written. Just had to say thank you brother or sister.

i'm a brother sis. i appreciate your search for the truth as well.

Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Thats not the problem. The problem is. YOU CAN’T KEEP THE TEN AS COMMANDED BY GOD!

No, it is YOU who can't keep them, not me. I can keep them. As a matter of fact they are super simple. Even just decent people can get 6 of the 10 without even considering they are COMMANDMENTS. Have you ever read them??? Which ones are giving you a such a problem???

  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
  2. You shall make no idols.
  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
  4. Keep the Sabbath day holy.
  5. Honor your father and your mother.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  10. You shall not covet.
Seriously???? You have a problem with even one of these??? Do you gotta put someone or something before God?? Hard time not carving out little idols??? Do you take the Lords name in vain??? can't stop???? Can't take a rest from the world and dedicate a day to God???? Hate your mom and dad??? Or must you kill??? can't be trusted to keep vows or commitments??? Need to steal?? or lie?? or is it coveting that really can't be helped?? gotta have what they have?? I don't understand the problem.

But what I really don't understand is why you don't believe in the Blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sin repented of. Because if you did you would not keep talking about having to be perfectly perfect all of the time to ever be perfect. All you got to do is

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Hebrews 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
Hebrews 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
Hebrews 9:18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
Hebrews 9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
Hebrews 9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
Hebrews 9:21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood and without shedding of blood is no remission.
(But NOT all)
Hebrews 9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

Completely yielding to the Holy Spirit also gives us strength to overcome. Jesus wants all of us to have this. He does not want any of His children to have to live in a state of continual and perpetual defeat. Perhaps not all have availed themselves to this gracious provision.

Because if you follow the commands

you would be sinless

Thats right? You think you can break commands, yet still claim to follow them correct? One does not have to be perfect?

Yes I can follow the commandments, perfectly. Do you want to know how? By believing in the forgiving power of the Blood of the Lamb slain. I drop down to my knees in repentance and pray the Lord through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive me, my sin, my imperfection, and I am guaranteed by the discerner of my thoughts and the intents of my heart, that forgiveness for that sin, that very sin that took me away from perfection is blotted out of the book, and I AM RESTORED to the place where the Lord God can hear my prayers and supplications, perfect in the eyes of God.

I don't have to wait a second past repentance, for that nasty sinful sinning to be washed away and be made clean again. I don't have to find and take an animal to a priest, I don't have to find a priest, I don't have to carry around all those accumulating sin for days on end, and all the guilt that goes with it, I don't need to have a priest talk to God for me, I don't have to walk away still feeling any guilt because I believe, I have faith, I know the better day is coming.

I remain in a sinless state as often and as long as I can because I know that is the only time God can hear my prayers. The blood of Christ makes that perfect walk not only possible, but light, His yoke is light. Ever, so super light. We are so so so very blessed to be living under grace, people have no idea.

Do you confess all your sins each time you ask Jesus for forgiveness each night?

Or do you just do a blanket “forgive me of all my sins”?

If you have to fall to your knees to repent. You obviously have not obeyed as you claim you have.

once again, You contradict yourself. You claim on thing, yet say the opposite.

ps. You post above, It shows how GOD obeyed the Omanis through Christ. And HIS righteousness is thus imputed to you. Not your righteousness, but his.

this is the gospel 101.

We are not n defeat, Because christ won the victory. Not because we have achieved some state of righteousness by our obedience.

Thats we we can go to him as our abba father, knowing we are forgiven, and in each, which surpasses understanding. Because we KNOW we are forgiven. And can continue to look out in victory not inward in defeat.

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

3340 metanoeo
to change ones mind or purpose
I repent, change my mind, change the inner man (particularly with reference to acceptance of the will of God) repent

I am disciplining (trying my best) to "change the inner man" to the will of God. I find that it is much more productive to acknowledge the individual sin/trespass, so as hopefully not to "make that mistake again" with help of the Spirit. But yes, I do also "blanket" those I have not had a conscience conviction of.

"each night" just struck me as funny because I find myself on my knees more in the day than the night, and I am not sure I had ever given thought to the "when" before because it is not a part, of (for lack of a better word "ritual") I do before bed each night.

Do you share this information about yourself and if so, please do.

Sorry, But I would not be where I am if people did that for me.

I love people enough I will not do that for them either, God did not, nor did the apostles..
