In response to your title question. No, He did not; on the contrary He warned against teaching against the least of the laws……...…….now it is up to the believer to study and learn from Jesus how He viewed obedience and the manner to obey law under grace for the law does not save, only the Blood of th Lamb of God does this, but grace is never, but NEVER an excuse to be children of disobedience. God bless all with learning from our Lord, Jesus, Yeshua...

Matthew 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
(why isn't he just going back and forth between his two bodies? why does he have to find another man?)
Matthew 12:44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
(so he goes back to the man he left)
Matthew 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

"After the coming of the Messiah", so does Messiah come at the 5th trump? or the 4th? or the 6th? or the 7th?
is this 5 months during the millennium or before?
Where is Satan during all this?

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
1 Corinthians 6
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Just kidding...

And how many posts, and arguments are there concerning "trifle" matters? Such as one of such major importance as "toilet seat....up er down?" ;)

Not knowing if you are correct or not in your assessment of what Adonai Elohim-Tzva’ot related to Isaiah.

But, "assuming" you are?

I had an "experience/event" somewhat similar to that some 30+ years ago. I "likened" it to what It "felt" like what actually happened. It "felt" like "The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord!"
Great
in it's love! Yet Terrible in what that love "revealed!"

This lasted around 20 minutes er so.
To be told afterwards that "that" which I had just experienced, was just a "sliver of His pinky nail" of love.

I was thinking, perhaps you might "shed some light" concerning this experience. Or, you have heard of such an experience, or have experienced something "similar" yourself.

Or, what you might consider it to be.
"Crickets?"

The Law of Moses was an identifier of the sins they committed,a corrector if you will. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit as such,to lead us in the word to walk correctly in the law of love( Jesus covenant)!

Today because of their rejection of the Messiah Israel still abides by the Mosiac Law,we however live under Grace, faith, and love through the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of our Saviour Jesus ,who took the curse of the law upon the cross!
JMO by what I have found studying the Word of God
Jesus took the "curse of the law", in that it was no longer ABLE to do "in the flesh", that which it was "intended" to do.

And, moved it "by the Grace of God", and His "Loving Kindness", which endures forever, into "spiritually sacrificings."

1 Peter 2
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Gentiles are not the ones who were given the law of Moses and that's a fact. Now, if Gentiles who are not under the law, do the things required by the law, (Romans 2:12-16)are they relying and putting themselves under the law by doing so and are therefore cursed if they don't continue to do all the things written in the book of the Law? (Galatians 3:10-14) Do you believe this, and that Paul was teaching the Gentiles who were (in fact) not under the law but under the Grace and a new covenant, to NO LONGER FOLLOW the law of Moses? How can someone who is NOT under the law..."NO LONGER FOLLOW THE LAW"?
No, you can't stop doing something that you're not doing. I don't remember having said that Paul said that the Gentiles no longer needed to keep the Law. Anyway, I can revise the statement: "Paul said the Gentiles didn't have to keep the law of Moses".

His words will never pass away, but the Law did pass away.
Only to those who consider the laws of God as NOT His very own words.

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life...

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:6,17-18

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. John 6:63

“Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” “Which ones?” the man inquired. Jesus replied, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Matthew 19:17-19

The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:9-10

Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining. Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble. But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him. 1 John 2:7-11

For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. Hebrews 7:12

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

The law of God is the law of Jesus and the law of Moses.

Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:11-12

Should we nullify or make void His law? Did He? ...Would He?

Here's a good advise from Paul;

All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained. Philippians 3:15-16

The word/s of the Master is a law to His servants, written on/in their hearts.

Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and walk in Love.

GOD IS good and His LOVE endures forever. Amen

No, Wokinluv, we do consider the law of Moses as God's law, since it served an important purpose for some 15 centuries.

Please, read the portion of Scripture below:

Galatians 3:23-29 New International Version.

23 Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

Yesterday I was talking with my wife about law keepers. Since she was raised in a non-legalistic environment she was amazed to learn that there are so many Christians who still keep (or attempt to keep) the law of Moses.

I told my wife that they have a good reason for that: Jesus in fact basically preached the law of Moses.

Unfortunately the vast majority of theologians teach that everything Jesus preached on Earth is for us (Gentiles) and the great majority of them teach that in case of conflict (or doubt) we should stick with Jesus.

The biggest problem with these theologians is that they are not consistent with what they teach. They don't offer sacrifices; they don't wash one another's feet; they don't give away their properties and give alms; they don't keep the Sabbath; ...... , well, to sum up, they don't keep the law of Moses, which was the commandment given by Jesus to His disciples while He was on Earth.

The main purpose of this thread is to discuss whether or not some of Jesus' teachings are applicable to us. Are we to sell everything we have and give the money to the poor? Should we offer sacrifices? Should we keep the law of Moses?

How can we be faithful to Jesus if we don't know what He requires of us?

Gods Word, trifle??? There are those who feel that because they are no longer "under the law" that it has nothing to do with them. They actually think the first 5 books of the Bible should just be ignored. Do you know the song we will be singing. Its in Deut. OLD and not under but still something a Christian better know.

Would you find it to be better to just let teachings like that stand alone without a defense?? The only thing evil needs to prevail is for the good to do nothing. So no, its not triffle but thanks for your wisdom and input, much can be learned from it.

Isaiah 42:12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.
Isaiah 42:13 The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.
Isaiah 42:14 I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.
Isaiah 42:15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.
Isaiah 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
Isaiah 42:17 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.

Isaiah 42:18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.

Isaiah 42:19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?

Isaiah 42:20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.
Isaiah 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Isaiah 42:22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

Isaiah 42:23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?

Isaiah 42:24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.

Isaiah 42:25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.

I believe you have somehow managed to misunderstand the intent and motive of my posts in this thread so far - which is 'humor'.

Seems I don't read them as funny as you type them. Could you explain the "humor" for me? I read them again trying to "feel" it, and still no smile.
