I especially like this part!!!:D

Well, that is what I see in his diatribe, blather and rigmarole.....rather sickening!
We are saved through favor to do good works. If you do not do good works, then you are no longer under favor, but under wrath, for good works is required of all of us. You deceive yourself if you think good works are not required. An apple tree that bears bad apples is just as useless as an apple tree that bears no good apples. Both will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

Welcome to CC!!

There... I did my good work for today. Guess I'm good til tomorrow.

So tell me chief, just how many good works do we have to do to stay saved? Be specific! Lord knows I don't want to lose what Jesus has done for me.
They are coming out of the wood work for sure...

What good works have you done today to maintain your salvation?
My ministry is based in Medellín, Colombia, in a poor neighborhood in the center of the city, and throughout the week I go out giving out peanut butter jelly sandwiches to the homeless. Now, what good works are you doing?

I do a hell of a lot more than that, and guess what, it doesn’t mean a thing. My salvation is a free gift from God; saved by grace through faith. WORKS DON’T SAVE US.

What is truly sickening is that you think you have no obligation to give food to someone who is begging you for food. The Torah commands, "YOU SHALL open your hand wide to the poor". Doing good works is a command of the Law of God. Only the ignorant and the lazy use the favor of God as a justification to not do good works, unaware that favor is granted so that we can do good works, because good works are an obligation.

Does this good work bring you absolute certainty of salvation?

Do you now? Impressive. Applause. Indeed the scriptures tell us some will bear fruit fivefold, and others tenfold, and others one hundredfold. The important thing is to bear good fruit, which is good works. But since you already bear so much good fruit, this shouldn't be a problem for you at all ;-)

The anointing does, which is granted through good works, hence Cornelius, who received the anointing and was commended with these words, "your good works to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God and your prayer has been heard".

No, what is truly sickening is self righteous Pharisees thumping their collective chests rather than kneeling humbly, thanking God for His free, irrevocable gift of salvation.

We who know we don’t need to perform works to be saved still perform works to glorify God.

It’s not a problem for me because I’m saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It’s all about what He did, not what we do.

Kneeling humbly does nothing if you do not do good works. Even in Isaiah we read regarding humbling yourself through fasting,

Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?
Isaiah 58:6-7

Only ignorant and lazy people say good works are not required. I would expect these comments to come more from atheists, but from believers? Disgusting. Even the reason Sodom was destroyed was not just because of homosexuality, but because they refused to do good works,

Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy.
Ezekiel 16:49

GOOD WORKS ARE REQUIRED. DO NOT DECEIVE YOURSELVES.

I applaud you for caring for people in need. May you always be a blessing to others, but make no mistake, you’re saved by grace through faith, not works.

We are saved by favor and not by works because of predestination, not because good works are not required, because before we were born before we did any works God already chose us, and through that choice to grant us favor we are then called to do good works.

The following verses say otherwise:
John 3:16-17
Romans 10:9-10
