Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds and every eye shall see him and they also which pierced him and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
(No one disappearing, every eye sees, and every knee shall bow)
Revelation 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last (no middle here) and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen and have the keys of hell and of death.
(yet another opportunity to slide in a "but coming to take my church first")
Revelation 1:19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter
(yet another opportunity to slide in a "but coming to take my church first") but it is to the Churches this is written, and we are going to be told about what has, what is and what will happen to the church. Seriously wouldn't this be a great time to mention a "rapsure"?
Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
And what does HE tell each and every single church he writes to????
To him that overcometh, to ALL 7 of them.
What is special about these 7 Churches? They represent the "beliefs" of the churches we find today. There were 2 churches that were "approved". I pray one of them is yours. What are those 2 churches about, what is their knowledge? What do they teach?
Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
(Do you know that some people don't even know that it was SATAN in charge at the Crucifixion of Jesus. Some people actually believe it was our true brother Judah. Sure some of them maybe, but mostly they were of the synagogue of Satan. Ever wonder why all those genealogies are written in the Bible? Heritage. You know who didn't care about their heritage? sold it for a bowl of pottage. Most likely not the first time he didn't care about it either)
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried and ye shall have tribulation ten days be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Revelation 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
To not be hurt by the second death means you MUST be of the 1st resurrection. And this church is here on earth with the devil casting some of us into prison for a 10 day trial. Can you imagine? The most you will suffer is 10 days and for those measly hours the reward is a crown of life, eternal. Gird up thy loins. If this actually happens to you, you are not to even premeditate what you will say. ou say nothing until the Holy Spirit speaks through you. I can't hardly write it. The honor of being chosen for such a thing. A little gospel armor for someone who needs a piece.
