Fo not forget because the sttuburness of the jews that why we become hwirs aswell through his Son...
Who do you care most the one who used to make other one jealous..or the other? Fathet to his son to adopted son...though both are heirs.

There was no Body of Christ until the grace dispensation, so yes, in time past, it was only Jews and Gentiles then. If a Gentile want to be saved, they had to be saved "as a Jew".

But now, we have a body of Christ where, as I said Jews and Gentiles are equal. A Gentile that is saved is no longer a gentile, he belongs to the body of Christ.

Read Paul's epistles for details of that.

Jesus, while on Earth, taught obedience to the law of Moses. Do you guys, in your church, observe the following?

Season all your grain offerings with salt. Do not leave the salt of the covenant of your God out of your grain offerings; add salt to all your offerings. Leviticus 2:13 New International Version (NIV)
Here is what Christians should do and know;

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:1-2

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24

As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1Peter 2:4-5

Everyone will be salted with fire. “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other.” Mark 9:49-50

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:6

Are you a salted offering to God? Do you offer yourself to God as a living sacrifice by rejecting His commands, laws, teachings and instructions which are the very words of God who is the one LAWGIVER and JUDGE?

But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37 (see also John 12:47-50)

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. Matthew 5:13

The word/s of the Master is a law to His servants, written on their hearts.

Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and walk in Love.

GOD IS good and His LOVE endures forever. Amen

God knows. Before coming to Christ, isn't everyone? But with the Abrahamic Covenant " his descendants would be like the dust or stars, unable to number, statistically speaking, chances are you are a sheep than not. Just sayin...
Wait a moment! Now I remember ... my dad had a big nose ... maybe I have some Jewish/Hebrew blood.

Are you talking about the idea of kind of secret Israelites mixed in with the gentiles? They are under the covenant of Abraham, but only God knows who they are?

I think it says somewhere that a person has to be circumcised to be part of the abrahamic covenant.

So if Israelites were taken captive, and then especially if they migrated North into Europe, after a generation or two of not being circumcised, they would no longer be under the covenant of Abraham, would they?

Does that make sense?
Anyone who gets circumcised (blood) "for the Mosaic Covenant or the Abrahamic Covenant" is only deceiving himself if he says he is doing it for God. Jesus covered all blood sacrifice. If you are a Jew and you do not believe in Jesus, it still does you no good. If you are a Jew and believe in Jesus it still does you no good.

No matter who anyone is, if the circumcision is of the flesh, it is not for God. God does not accept it from anyone because HE changed it when He walked in the flesh. He changed it to a "spiritual" circumcision of the heart. God is done with blood sacrifice. All of them. When you die to the flesh and walk in the Spirit, and that is why it is now of the heart.

The Abrahamic Covenant had circumcision, but even that was changed. Just because some don't believe it to be true, doesn't mean it isn't. (I hope I said that right)

How I wish we could get this Covenant thing straight. I don't understand why people cant grasp the idea of something still being, yet not being in control anymore, yet no less important. I thought God did the best job ever of explaining it. I don't see how it isn't clearly seen.

I don't believe it is a "physical" Israel either. It is the Spiritual Israel who I believe are the Christians of today. Drawn to God.

People are either "in Christ" or not. As for the rest of the "flesh" world, who you are, where you came from, what country, nationality, gentile or jew or whatever "DIES" and you are made a new creature in Christ. Spiritual. ALL one, all in the same body. All with the same Saviour. All with the same Book. All with the same teachers. All with the same commands.
ALL the rest is of the flesh. Period. There is no division in one body. One arm doesn't follow one set of rules and the other arm another. It is all so simple and basic. But man has got to get back to "the letter" of the Word, leaving once again "the spirit of truth" to be found in the Word.

God is looking for us to be righteous. He took the pressure and boasting of our selves out of the equation by gifting us what we needed "to be saved" and FREEING us up from the need of "perfection", by coming in the flesh HIMSELF and showing us how it is done and taking AWAY ALL THAT WAS CONTRARY TO US, AND THEN SENDING US HELP.

His yoke is light. Still a yoke. He is guiding us. But He isn't doing it for us. That is why He made it so easy to REPENT, and be forgiven. Jesus walked perfect, we don't have to. God loves us, knows we are sinners. Knows we can't, but we better try our best.

Have you ever checked out the word "repent"? It is a changing of the inner man.

Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Luke 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Change of mind, repentance, change in the inner man.

Quotes " especially the change of mind of those who have begun to abhor their errors and misdeeds, and have determined to enter upon a better course of life, so that it embraces both a recognition of sin and sorrow for it and hearty amendment, the tokens and effects of which are good deeds"

"a baptism binding its subjects to repentance" " that change of mind by which we turn from, desist from, etc" " used merely of the improved spiritual state resulting from deep sorrow for sin"

It is a process.
How are we to PRAY?

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

That is daily. That is work. That is "our" work, our walk,

Hebrews 4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

Hebrews 4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

Greek : If for to them Joshua had given rest, NOT about another He would have spoken after this day.

Maybe got a little carried away. I hope you understand, its not all about or just for you. I just can't help it sometimes and I don't want to erase, just in case someone was seeking.....

"Mixed in" with the gentiles? Ya mean like mixed into ones' DNA? Yep!
Can you imagine how "mixed up" this makes one "born of water."
How after several generations, cuz "trust me", the "effects" of "precepts of men", along with "tribal elders", "superseding" the "law" with their traditions? Is devastating to the "Voice of God!"
Where people today can't discern the difference from The Father IN "His Son", from the Father who SENT His Son!

Nor, do they know what to do, after one has been confessed before the Father.
They have to be taught! They have to be sensitive to "His teachings."
And? They have to be willing!

Best part, it doesn't matter once you come to Christ. We are all in one body. There is NO longer any flesh amongst us. We are made spiritual.

And I know people say Jewish/Hebrew but what if you are of Manasseh or Ephraim or Dan or Simeon or Naphtali or Asher or Issachar or Zebulon or Gad or Benjamin or Joseph or Reuben or you might be right and be of Judah. (Ok that was just for me, keeping the brain sharp)

Prior to Christ Ressurection we Gentiles worship a God we do not know, we do not have the law like they have...
So now in Christ, we gentiles have been given a chance...adopted..grafted..that we may become partaker of God promise...equal because God gave a chance to be saved for being a gentile and because of the hard headed jews...

No. We do not do such things. We are Christians not Jews. I hope you have read and understood my response/post to you.

So did Jesus ever tell us (Christians) that we no longer have to keep the law (for the Jews) of Moses? Please show us your stance here using the scriptures as some here are doing. Don't worry Bro, we will not trample them under foot as some here also do with scriptures while exalting their own words..

The Man of Lawlessness

Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

The word/s of the Master is a law to His servants, written on their hearts.

Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and walk in Love.

GOD IS good and His LOVE endures forever. Amen

Thanks for the nice post, but it looks like we're talking about two different things when it comes to the abrahamic covenant and a kind of secret isreal.

Yes, that's a great word,
repent.

If a person is in Christ, they are a new creation. I think that's a true change in the inner person!

It is quite a journey onto perfection or maturity. How we start out as babes in the Word of God, knowing so very little, taking so much on faith. Those "changes" coming sometimes so fast in the beginning, later more slowly, as we become more Christ like in our walk, yet never ending. I like these verses in the way that journey is laid out and how we must push past and onward

Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Hebrews 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Hebrews 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Hebrews 6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.

It is that discerning between good and evil that took me the longest time to get.

I read back over my post and realized I used "perfection" instead of "walking perfectly or being perfect as we walk". I hope it doesn't cause confusion.

Proverbs 3: 1. My son, forget not my law, and let thy heart keep my commandments. 2. For they shall add to thee length of days, and years of life and peace. 3. Let not mercy and truth leave thee, put them about thy neck, and write them in the tables of thy heart: 4. And thou shalt have grace and good understanding before God and men. 5. Have confidence in the Lord with all thy heart, and lean not upon thy own prudence. 6. In all thy ways think on him, and he will direct thy steps. 7. Be not wise in thy own conceit: fear God, and depart from evil: 8. For it shall be health to thy navel, and moistening to thy bones.
