Are you talking about the idea of kind of secret Israelites mixed in with the gentiles? They are under the covenant of Abraham, but only God knows who they are?
I think it says somewhere that a person has to be circumcised to be part of the abrahamic covenant.
So if Israelites were taken captive, and then especially if they migrated North into Europe, after a generation or two of not being circumcised, they would no longer be under the covenant of Abraham, would they?
Does that make sense?
Anyone who gets circumcised (blood) "for the Mosaic Covenant or the Abrahamic Covenant" is only deceiving himself if he says he is doing it for God. Jesus covered all blood sacrifice. If you are a Jew and
you do not believe in Jesus,
it still does you no good. If you are a Jew and
believe in Jesus
it still does you no good.
No matter who anyone is, if the circumcision is of the flesh, it is not for God. God does not accept it from anyone because HE changed it when He walked in the flesh. He changed it to a "spiritual" circumcision of the heart. God is done with blood sacrifice. All of them. When you die to the flesh and walk in the Spirit, and that is why it is now of the heart.
The Abrahamic Covenant had circumcision, but even that was changed. Just because some don't believe it to be true, doesn't mean it isn't. (I hope I said that right)
How I wish we could get this Covenant thing straight. I don't understand why people cant grasp the idea of something still being, yet not being in control anymore, yet no less important. I thought God did the best job ever of explaining it. I don't see how it isn't clearly seen.
I don't believe it is a "physical" Israel either. It is the Spiritual Israel who I believe are the Christians of today. Drawn to God.
People are either "in Christ" or not. As for the rest of the "flesh" world, who you are, where you came from, what country, nationality, gentile or jew or whatever "DIES" and you are made a new creature in Christ. Spiritual. ALL one, all in the same body. All with the same Saviour. All with the same Book. All with the same teachers. All with the same commands.
ALL the rest is of the flesh. Period. There is no division in one body. One arm doesn't follow one set of rules and the other arm another. It is all so simple and basic. But man has got to get back to "the letter" of the Word, leaving once again "the spirit of truth" to be found in the Word.
God is looking for us to be righteous. He took the pressure and boasting of our selves out of the equation by gifting us what we needed "to be saved" and FREEING us up from the need of "perfection", by coming in the flesh HIMSELF and showing us how it is done and taking AWAY ALL THAT WAS CONTRARY TO US, AND THEN SENDING US HELP.
His yoke is light. Still a yoke. He is guiding us. But He isn't doing it for us. That is why He made it so easy to REPENT, and be forgiven. Jesus walked perfect, we don't have to. God loves us, knows we are sinners. Knows we can't, but we better try our best.
Have you ever checked out the word "repent"? It is a changing of the inner man.
Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
Luke 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Change of mind, repentance, change in the inner man.
Quotes " especially the change of mind of those who have begun to abhor their errors and misdeeds, and have determined to enter upon a better course of life, so that it embraces both a recognition of sin and sorrow for it and hearty amendment, the tokens and effects of which are good deeds"
"a baptism binding its subjects to repentance" " that change of mind by which we turn from, desist from, etc" " used merely of the improved spiritual state resulting from deep sorrow for sin"
It is a process.
How are we to PRAY?
Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
That is daily. That is work. That is "our" work, our walk,
Hebrews 4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
Hebrews 4:8
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
Hebrews 4:9
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Greek :
If for to them Joshua had given rest,
NOT about another He would have spoken after this day.
Maybe got a little carried away. I hope you understand, its not all about or just for you. I just can't help it sometimes and I don't want to erase, just in case someone was seeking.....
