90% of my postes(yes post-ez) are on my "smart" phone.Kayla, when you respond as you do, your whole post ends up in the squished down quote box, and is therefore not even visible unless the box is clicked to expand, but even then, if someone were to quote your post, it would be filled with the content from the post you quoted intermingled with your own, and that could be problematic for anyone wishing to respond to only your points.
An easy work around is to simply insert the [ quote] and [ /unquote] tags (but with no spaces) around the other persons' comments to which you are responding. You do not have to type it in each time as they are available in the drop down from the arrow icon to the right hand side of the smilies' icon above the message box. It says "Insert" when you hover over it
You would not have to copy and paste the other persons' comments each time, though, if that was your concern. When you reply to any post (which effectively quotes it), you would simply insert the closing quote tag [ /quote] <- but with no spacesat the end of the first point you are responding to and then start your response. The rest of the other person's post is still there, right? So after your first point, you would then insert the quote tags around the next point, by highlighting the part you want to respond to, and continue answering in that fashion. One mistake people make is having one too many or too few quote tags, because the closing quote tag from the original quoted post is still there at the end of the quoted person's post. As with anything, it may take a little practice, and making use of the Preview can be helpful in the beginning stages
