Has everyone remembered to pray for the people of the Bahamas today. They got hit today with a Cat 5 Hurricane, with winds up to 225 mph.

Interesting since there are many people who are born again and have never heard of lordship salvation doctrine?
The one where two stipulations are in place to be saved, which is wrong.
Scripture teaches one way to be saved.
And Jesus is Lord.
What I find very interesting how the exact some accusation comes up each time.
If Jesus Christ is not the Lord and Master of your life, He is NOT your Saviour.
The promise to make Jesus master of one's life at the point of conversion then makes salvation not by grace.
I hold to the simplicity in the Gospel in Christ Jesus
It is the Gospel of Grace not the Gospel of Lordship/Performance
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." —John 3:16
A Gospel which requires a person to make Christ the Master of his life to be saved—is not biblical!
Again that makes the Gospel based on our promise to Him.
"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
True salvation requires that you receive Christ Jesus for who he really is....Lord. He was is and ever will be Lord. Failure to receive Christ as Lord is another gospel.Interesting since there are many people who are born again and have never heard of lordship salvation doctrine?

You Look at these verses and YOU tell me when He becomes your SAVIOR, Before or After receiving HIM AS LORD.
Romans 10:9-10 (HCSB)
9 If you confess {has to have already taken place in your heart, for it to be a CONFESSION, otherwise it is ONLY A PROFESSION,} with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” {NASB words that "JESUS AS LORD"} and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
Colossians 3:15 (HCSB)
15 And let the peace of the Messiah, to which you were also called in one body, control your hearts. Be thankful.
Matthew 25:23 (ESV)
23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’
Matthew 6:24 (HCSB)
24 “No one can be a slave of two masters, since either he will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot be slaves of God and of money.
Don't you know that the WORD LORD, MEANS MASTER.

My point is that there are those that willfully refuse to make Jesus Lord, despite a profession. And it is obvious.Receiving Christ as savior is based upon simple faith....making Him Lord of one's life is a process of growth and maturity.....
He that believes on the SON is having everlasting life......
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten SON, whosoever believes on him "AS LORD" shall not be perishing, but is having everlasting life.
The point is obvious......YES we are to acknowledge him AS Lord and God, but not dogmatically to be born from above....there are scriptures that go both ways........
Is the bolded in John 3:16?
Pre-trib does not jive with scripture..........and the thing that makes me chuckle....those that divide his coming into two separate events...
was
is
is to come
ALL things must jive with one coming (body presence)
dear friend maybe you can make a topic of it and we can discuss it. i wish it were true as well.Pre-trib, squares 100% in my Bible.
My view on the gospel is clear....there is one correct message...if it is corrupted by a losable salvation or salvation that can be forfeit...it was a false through and through.....

dont we all?
Amen ... Following Jesus Christ is a matter of DISCIPLESHIP, and not SALVATION. Eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10)
Hence, to believe on Christ is to trust THE LORD.
We do not make Jesus Lord of our lives to receive salvation.
End of story.
Teachings I abhor... losable salvation and lordship salvation![]()
Let's Hear what YOU think is Lordship Salvation ? ? ?
