So then you don't think a Christian would be under the curse of the law for obeying certain laws you and the Holy Spirit deem are reasonable?
Ya see Yahshua, these, and ones like these? Haven't
grown spiritually, in over
2,000 YEARS! They are
just as "barbaric" NOW, as "the gentiles" to whom the gospel was presented to
2,000 years ago!
They were "babes" 2,000 years ago? They are "babes" NOW!
It would "appear", they resist any "guidance" from the Father, as well, as the "gift" of the Holy spirit, which was "given" them by the Father!
Revelation 2
12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
14 But I have a few things against thee,
because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam (mo money, mo money, mo money), who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the *Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
*The doctrine of the Nicolaitans appears to have been a form of
antinomianism, which makes the fatal mistake that man can freely partake in sin
because the Law of God is no longer binding. It held the truth on the gratuitous reckoning of righteousness; but supposed
that a mere intellectual "belief" in this truth had a saving power.
I believe one may be more correct then not, in referring to these "churches of stone", as not Christ's Church.
Rather, the "Church of the Paulene Epistles."
