Paul faced the kind of attitude you are expressing, I am in Christ so nothing can touch me.

Jesus is wonderful in His love, in His sacrifice, in His gift.
But the cost is our lives, dead to the world and alive to Him.
If you believe you are clean, purified, made Holy, walking in love, grace and peace, Amen, Praise
the Lord.
But many in your group do not believe they are clean, purified or holy, rather they are sinners
sinning daily without resolution or progress in Him.
I would question do they know Jesus at all. They complain to walk in love in everything we do
to God and to love our neighbour as ourself is too great a burden.
And then this salvation they claim to have, if they were to deny it all and become the worst
satanist on the planet, God would still say you are my child, enter my rest.
They would be broken off and thrown away on the fire as Jesus described.
But in Christ and in His love we have eternal security and a real home, knowing His Spirit
flowing through us, sealing us in the gospel and His salvation.
So I pray this is truly your experience, and you hope, God bless you.

Is this the soldiers approach of enemy, destroy, dominate? And the reason why or how or
damage done does not register?

We have serious reality and spiritual issues, and questions about how we love minorities, respond
to bias in our society and sexual bias in society which is being addressed yet the church has little
response to in love.
If we cannot even agree how to address evil behaviour and sin, how can we even claim to have
a valid voice worthy of being listened to by non-believers.
Because if you respond with scripture you create a real discussion, call it satanic, you teach people
mention this and you will be labelled evil. It is a kind of intimidation and bullying, and it does work.
You want to belong to this group, agree or get thrown out. All cults us this kind of mind manipulation.
And this group cannot even admit the alternative view on scripture and Christ.
Just take the emotional view of Christ does everything, and to suggest we do anything is blasphemy.
Such simplicity becomes mind numbing.
But it is effective. So this verse for them is actually heresy

We are part of Gods work, the cross is the door and the way of atonement, but we are to share
preach, and walk the path to fulfil its promise. Without this there is no eternal life.
I can deal with heat for my stance and what I dish out....but targeting my two lost children to disease, my handicapped son and calling me the following names is way out of bounds....

Over the past months, I have not seen any of these things mentioned.
So why are you mentioning this now? Is this a way of balancing your behaviour towards others
because of other individuals in the past have hurt you in these ways?
I suspect there is some need to be defensive here, which suggests an actual admittance of
behaviour that is not good. Who would have guessed? Not literally everyone who reads
the "Not by works" thread. If one was timid, boom, do not take on this dude ....
You really have to laugh at them it undermines their inflated egos,they can't stand it! Also ignore makes the forums easier to read without all the name calling and guff they spew! If ppl choose to not walk after Jesus as He says,it on them and you are right FHS,makes us press forward more!

I seriously doubt there is any truth to all those things! IMO,more bluster!
...This was me but I could not see it....

I studied many hours everyday, I can honestly say for years sometimes more than 5 days a week I spent upwards of 12 hours a day in the holy scriptures....
Cover to cover sometimes, prayer for lessons others.....
I saw Jesus not as my finality for salvation... not as my only hope to enter the kingdom of heaven...
but as the starting point....
"first i must believe... then i must be a good and faithful servant.. then i must remain as righteous as possible ... i must put more time into worship than work or play or sleep.... i must be baptized in water and love God more than anything.... i must forgive every offense and beg for forgiveness and deliverance from fleeting temptations i must hold every individual thought captive....but if i sin and do not have time to ask for forgiveness... what will become of me?.... will there be iniquity found in me? .... no i must not doubt... i must be strong...."
I saw Gods hatred for sin
and much like these confused, blind and lost folk
defined my status with God by my current walk
in other words... placed my assurance in myself....
not at all what God wants for His children
He is clear
and I am grateful for the deliverance from not only actions and thoughts that would convict my new God given heart
but deliverance from the false idea that He could lose even one of His own

Are you saying someone has actually targeted your two lost children and your handicapped son here
on this thread or somewhere in this forum?
I would be concerned if this behaviour ever took place, and would hope it was put right.
It is a serious tragedy what you have touched on, and I mourn for your loss, and pain involved.

Dear sister,
When someone is this skilled at winding people up, you can be sure some would attempt revenge
by hitting where it hurts. I have seen people truly hurt on the internet and go hunting others.
It is not a pretty sight. You do not get this skilled without incidents like this cropping up.
I intervene and attempt to shine a light on what people are doing emotionally and spiritually.
Look how I am treated just bringing peace and Gods word. Imagine something far worse.
Soldiers. When friends have died in your arms, and you have killed face to face it changes you.
Ptsd has some odd effects on people. It would not surprise me if this was not part of the mix.

Are the following statements correct as per OSAS?
1. 'We' are saved by Grace, a Grace that is sufficient
2. The Lord chose 'us' to be saved by this grace
3. The Lord works salvation in 'us' and 'we' can not loose it because He will never deny Himself
4. The Lord rewards those that are saved
5. Those that believe already have eternal life
6. But the Lord will harshly judge the others who are not saved, because they are not chosen, grace doesn't cover them, their reward is judgement because the Lord did not work salvation in them.
7. The Lord is a righteous judge

Weirdly, some think christians can have the Holy Spirit and be possessed.
Some think only possessed or demon influenced people would actually suggest we as believers do
anything as believers, it is all Jesus or you are evil and deceived.
On a forum, one brother shared that anyone who opposed him was struck still and could not move.
Had a problem when I was not and carried on just sharing Christ and love. There is so much illusion
and abuse, it is a wonder people are actually saved, but thankfully as cc testifies there are many
faithful to Jesus and His word, Amen. They are the elect and can never be shaken.
