Thats the other issue, Far to many people are trying to place everyone under these groups. Thus they can not come close to tryign to understand what they really believe, because they are single minded.. And think they are right in their accusation

They fail to comprehend

Grace is free. Otherwise, its not grace.. It is paid for by the giver, not the receiver
Again, their concept is faulty because their interpretation of words is faulty

Smooth, I know Jesus and His word, and I follow Him. It is impossible to believe more in God than with
your heart, strength and mind and love your neighbour as yourself, so am not sure what you are talking about.

I find this observation so true. It is why talking about a school of thought is more helpful, because then
general points can be made.

Interestingly some take these general points personally and go on a tirade.
If one wants in a public arena to propose and defend a belief system, then unfortunately nothing is
off the table to respond to and discuss.

And unfortunately the beliefs of some are so contradictatory the only reason they do not put them out
there is they will get shot to pieces which does hurt badly.

I know when some cannot take the heat, ignore button. But then that is healing maybe, unless ofcourse
they need to listen to Jesus and start to walk along His path and walk in His ways. Amen

There is a war going on pal......true vs. false, right vs. wrong, truth vs. lies, LIGHT vs. darkness. GOD and his KINGDOM vs. SATAN and his fallen KINGDOM, GOOD vs. EVIL......

and MAKE no mistake...BY either doctrine or DOGMA you are aligning yourself with one or the other!!!

Already covered in #5 "Those that believe already have eternal life", i should have said "those that believe the Gospel of Christ"
But i have a problem with these ideas and especially with #6.
Why does the Lord judge (those that are not saved) people, for something He (Christ) did not do in them (salvation/choosing) and reward others (saved), for something HE (Christ) did in them and still be called a righteous judge? This idea nullifies everything about God.

Ironic reality

I believe in security of the elect, written in the lambs book of life.
Clearly the testimony of Gods law in our hearts and minds is not true for some.

Are they in the Lambs book of life and is there any hope?
If one is walking with Jesus, such a question will tweak ones spirit, because God reminds
us we walk in His grace and love and under His righteousness and ways.

If one rebukes such doubts as the enemy, probably ones very foundations are in pipe dreams
and resolving internal issues which do not allow the truth to come in, ever, and change things.

To have true faith one knows what it is.

22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has?
Rom 8

We are not immortal, settled and sealed for then we have no hope we have arrived.
No we walk in faith and love with Jesus in the hope of salvation.

8 But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and
love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
1 Thess 5

No, I do not maintain anything, I express the work of Christ in my heart through all that I do.
And my friend, do explain responses context matters, unlike many I know who miss-lead so easily.

dear friend this is something i would say in the past. but two observation:

one is do we really when examine ourself keep the commandments of Jesus? i know honestly speaking i look and said i dont do this and that, could work on this more...

second is wouldnt you love to know right now that you are saved? no need to wait until final judgment to see if you behaved well enough to make the cut.

i know whom i have believed. i know im saved. if i didnt i would be crazy.

I deny this idea of an instant birth because of a spiritual encounter. The greatest mystery of our spiritual
lives is to decide whether from the day we are born, God is not working, and our spiritual birth happens
along the way, but often linked to many varied and often different experiences and situations.

To make the immortal theology work, there has to be a time of switch, that can never be reversed.

My view is we are born again, a new creation, but like any baby, we ourselves are aware of life, not quite
when it started. God bless you.

It is no surprise that to bring a different perspective is not acceptable, I must be rejecting Jesus's words
over being born again. This is very unfortunate and not gracious, but I have come to expect this.

I do not have a problem, I share from my heart and walk with Jesus.
It is the group you align with who has all the problems as demonstrated here.

I will openly accept anyone who follows Jesus and repents of their sin, walking in love and
good deeds, shunning evil and loving others. Are you such a one as this? God bless you
