I find so very often those least inclined to be so foolish and stupid as myself to carry the word of God to the very midst of the heathens to their face on the very ground. You seem kind though, you have much love for man, but in this you forget what Jesus reminded Peter as Satan tried sifting Peter as wheat and making him rebuke the very Lord Jesus himself and nearly blaspheme. And of course Peter would learn in time after the crucifixion and resurrection and really just write two of the most concise letter in the Bible that speak of the hellfire and damnation awaiting the wicked and us eternally praising Jesus.

I would think Christians are those who have wrestled against flesh and blood with Christ working in them as their conversion .The Spirit of Christ (the strong man) takes it by force. . giving us a new desire and new spirit .

We are to get angry without vengeance. Man's anger could never bring about the righteous life God desires. .

We do not wrestles against flesh and blood the things seen . Nor are we defended by the things seen the temporal We know no man after the flesh. we have had to change words we use because she figures them out within a day or less.

The Socinians held to a rationalistic approach to Scripture and to faith. This philosophical approach, especially in regard to biblical doctrine, declares that all religious matters must be fully reconcilable with human reason, and that theological matters pertaining to the nature of God cannot be beyond the finite understanding of the human mind.

So? That brings this into play:
1 Corinthians 2
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Granted! God gives "measures of faith."
Problems arise, it seems, as can be witnessed in the BDF, as well as in the "world" beyond the BDF, that people have this tendancy, in either being deceived, by man, or by forces within any particular believer, in the aiding of "self" deceiving oneself, that: "This "measure of faith" I have?" "Is a full measure!" (therefore) "There is no more faith, that I need, nor deisre!"

And this makes for (a) resistance, to any, IF not ALL efforts, in anyone's efforts towards "edification!"

Like leading a horse to water, so to speak. One can talk about it with posts, in explaining that there is indeed more faith, yea even more "Fruit of the Spirit" that needs tending to, in baring fruit, BESIDES "love!"
But, you can't MAKE 'em "drink" it!

I think those parked at the intersection of works vs grace are maxed out at salvation .
The car stalled there.
They CAN NOT differentiate between walk and born again.
But there are reasons.
For example if my pastor is peaked out in salvation and preaches a salvation message every single sunday,then his followers naturally follow that lead.

except all minds are not created equal. some will tell you that the Holy Spirit bridges the gap and human understanding is not necessary. all about faith. IMO, that illustrates my first sentence

It is like you wash the dishes and then you dry them. And put them safe in the cupboard.

Unlike perishing when you chuck the dishes away cos they are plastic or disposable and dont even bother to wash them

But in order to be saved all men must obey the Gospel. Which means they must repent and be converted, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.

So those who do not obey the Gospel will not be saved and will face eternal Hell. The wrath of God.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:36)

the outworking of your salvation is responding to the Holy Spirit within that you receive when you are saved in order to be sanctified...we are justified ONLY by the blood of Christ

Oh sorry three but I thought would just go for two now lest anyone get confused and ask, why arent we being glorifed? Yep, we must obey, not perfectly obey, we may make mistake every now and then, but I believe we have to have good attitude in the sense we want to obey. It may fail and keep trying

About 24 years ago, I have a friend, he is christian and teach Sunday school. In Indonesia weeding ceremony cost money, usually you invite 200 or more people.

He use the credit card and intend to cheat it.

He tell me it not effect his salvation, you can not lose your salvation.

I believe God do not like this attitude.

Let say you use credit cart but you plan to pay back, for some reason you Brooke and not able to pay, that may understandnable. But you use cc and know your income not enough to make payment, I do not think God approve that behavior.

If he not repent, I believe he lose his salvation. That is not the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The tree must not Holy Spirit
