What are you on about?
This makes no sense what so ever.
AMEN........contextually dishonest......his MODUS OPERANDI
What are you on about?
This makes no sense what so ever.
ImpossibleWe are not talking about you, we are talking about those who have committed their life to Christ, but for some reason or other have fallen away.
He forgets
According to the law. Which is what those people were going back to which caused them to be apostate. It only took one sin. As james said, break one command, your finished.
So hebrews is in this context. But they refuse to hear it. Because they need their interpretation to hold onto their system.
Thats why you will NEVER lose faith. And no one truly born of him ever will..God doesn't fail. If I claimed He did I would be a liar.
idiotic as well........!!!Still confused.... you think people can be born again..... again?
No.
IF it were possible (and it is not)
to lose salvation...
It is gone for good.
This clearly destroys the efforts of the hebrews who would teach something similar to the modern teachings of revolving door salvation.
It is a garbage doctrine....
I've heard a man say you can be saved and unsaved 1000+ times a day based on your works
so ridiculous...
Moses?Yep and look at their history
1. The complained at the red sea
2. They complained after the red sea
3. They complained every time they turned around
4. They failed to trust God to give them what he promised them
They had a life of unbelief.
There was NO faith.
That is not what I said. Why did you post about unbelievers, when the conversation is about believers who fall away.Yes
John said those people walked away from God and were not unbelievers, And returned to sin.
They were NEVEr OF US,
According to you. They WERE of us, then walked away and lost salvation.
It is impossible for them to fall away.Hebrews 6:4-6 - It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.
These are people who:-
1. Have tasted the heavenly gift.
2. Have shared in the Holy Spirit.
3. Have tasted the goodness of the word of God.
It is impossible for them to return.
I don't know about you but I couldn't fall away. It is impossible for me.
I know God intimately.
If someone could they surely didn't get what I got.
I would advise anyone who could just "stop believing" to examine wether or not truly in the faith.
Moses did not enter because of one sin..Moses?
He believe God and is commended for it, but he never entered the
That is not what I said. Why did you post about unbelievers, when the conversation is about believers who fall away.
God does not fail us, but sometimes we fail God. Remember we do worship a just God who requires us to live righteous lives.Thats why you will NEVER lose faith. And no one truly born of him ever will..
God never fails us.
On;y those who never have been born of him, but think they have will walk away, because they have never experienced him, and they think he failed them, when he has not.
I must admit I have seen a pattern of those who believe we can lose our Salvation , and that is they are always digging holes and finding things that are not there...
One thing that is really sad and sticks out to me like a sore thumb is that they have no joy , they type in a depressed state , like in a spirit of fear...
I understand this because that is how I started out before reading Gods word and not understanding who was saying what to who , and this made me very shaky...
I pray for all those who believe they can lose the precious gift of our LORDS work on the cross , that they humble themselves and go back to drinking milk , then they can swallow the meat , but not before they chew it...xox...
God does not fail us, but sometimes we fail God. Remember we do worship a just God who requires us to live righteous lives.
There you are. And the Good Shepherd will seek the one lost sheep, and the Father will welcome back the Prodigal Son.We fail God everyday off our lives , weather in thought or deed...
Great is His Faithfulness , His grace and Mercy are new every morning , why do you think He gives us His grace and mercy new every morning ? , because we need it...
You can not please god. You have failed. You are failing, and you will always fail to meet Gods standard. As first told by Moses. As confirmed by Paul, and as mentioned by james. All it takes is ONE SIN. And you have failed to meetGod does not fail us, but sometimes we fail God. Remember we do worship a just God who requires us to live righteous lives.
Then why does the Bible warn against it?It is impossible for them to fall away.
My sheep here my voice and they followThere you are. And the Good Shepherd will seek the one lost sheep, and the Father will welcome back the Prodigal Son.
Provided they want to return.
it does not warn true believers, it warns wanna be believers who have yet to make the call. Then why does the Bible warn against it?
