Hello to you.
I have a question about what you guys think about this.
I was called of God in december 2016, and started my journey with Him.
It came to a point later, where I acted on the word written in Mark 10:29-30.
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Only to later, and after a long journey, be brought back the the acknowledgement that all my own efforts are worthless, - I was able to say as Paul, that I count it all as dung, so I may know Christ and the power of His resurrection. I realize now that the power of the Cross, and Jesus Christ crucified is the wisdom of God, and my only hope. This is where my righteousness is found, by faith.
I realized also, that the suffering and persecution mentioned in the verses above, is directed towards Jews that comes to faith, and not to gentile believers, where they in families where the majority still claims righteousness by the observation of the Torah - can persecute those that break from observations of law, and profess godliness and righteousness by faith. This is the suffering and persecutions those that profess faith in Christ often must endure, and not for the commands one observes, - but doesn't observe, since they under the New testament is fulfilled by faith in Jesus.
One is persecuted for what one professes to believe. That Christ has finished the work!
Well, my point is that God revealed a calling on my life, and the power of God flows only when I accept it, but I have struggled with it, because of the bondage of religion, and condemnation. It is written that when our hearts condemn us, we can have no confidence before Him. He has given me faith that anything is possible, but because of religion, and bondage by law, I have let myself come in under bondage. This is the reason I am bringing this thread up, to maybe gain some clarity, and to hear your matter on the subject, if you support me, or not, and happily also the reasons why, if you would care to explain.
This is the scenario. Let's say God told me, a brother of low degree, that He is going to exalt me, and take me on high. This is written in James 1:9.
He has given me a faith where I believe Him when He says: All things are possible if you believe, and that I have whatever I want from Him.
We live in a time and era where wealth is stored up, and there are bundles of cash out there, that a believer can have if he or she only asks God.
I am talking about the lotteries.
I know that I have whatever I ask of Him, but I want to clear out the reasons and accusations before I receive it, so if any would engage me in a conversation about this, I would be very happy. I do not believe in luck, chance and coincidence. If I ask God, there is a 100%, 1/1 chance that I get what I ask of Him, I do not doubt that, and believe in the arm of the Lord.
We have different callings in our lives, and roles to fulfill in the body of Christ, and I know that it is not a coincidence that God has given me this kind of faith, and I have gotten much assurance from Him along the way. I have also planned how to use what I have been asking Him for, in detail, and know the exact route to take when I have what I ask - but would like to hear from you.
What do you think about this?
Do I have any support?
If yes. Why do you support this way?
If no. Why do you not support it?
Thank you for your time.
With warm regards.
