Strange reply??

Especially in light of what you have supported in various places on this thread.
So please forgive me for posting a silly answer to a silly sounding question. In fact I had forbidden my children, (when they were young) From watching MJ or Paul Rubin (Pee Wee Herman) but now I think they are old enough for the stupidity of Tommy Chong and Richard (Cheech) Marin and I can overlook Elton John's gayness and get the message of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" too.

Sodom and Gomorrah should give an insight into what God has said about the matter. God said it is an abomination which is pretty strong condemnation of this behavior.

All sin is an affront to God but God calls this sin specifically an abomination.

I'm sure you are not endeavoring to justify sodomy. God did in fact destroy two cities to underline His displeasure with sodomy. Romans 1 also is very clear about sodomy being a gross perversion of the natural use of our reproductive parts.

God has stressed His displeasure with all manner of sin. That FACT seems grossly overlooked by many.

I am helping my son with his online course in becoming a care worker for people.
We are going through the current section on human biology and anatomy; learning about the various biological systems-
the endocrine system
the respiratory system
the cardiovascular system
the urinary system
etc. and also
the reproductive system - yes the reproductive system (not the sexual pleasure system)

In this section are anatomical cross-section diagrams of male and female reproductive organs with their medical names.
The language in this section is an honest scientific and medical description of how each part functions and plays it role in
enabling male and females to procreate and how to have children. Biologically marvellous and awesome.

It is so bleeding obvious that the intelligent design, the creation of all this, the purpose of our reproductive body parts is
reproduction > genetic reproduction > offspring > children.
And hence when people wilfully use their reproductive parts outside of this God given purpose then it is sin; it is a perversion
of the Godly purpose for our bodies.

It is also a moral and sinful corruption against marriage which is a religious sacrament pretty well for all peoples and cultures.
Marriage is for the male and female to come together and to have children and families.
Same-sex unions are not part of God grand design and purpose for us.

Yes but sodomy is dishonoring the body which is made in the likeness and image God designed.

All sin and any sin is worthy of eternal condemnation and produces only death. Those who are proud of their sin only harden their hearts toward God and seal their eternal fate.

All sexual immorality dishonors the body. You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.' Meanwhile we have people posing as teachers of sound doctrine while they LIE about what the Bible explicitly states.

Adultery certainly dishonors the spouse. Jesus forgave the woman taken in adultery. Paul called out the man ion 1 Cor 5 over his behavior and he later repented. I do not make light of sexual immorality but sodomy does seem to have greater consequences attached to it.

Those who delight in their sin certainly harden their heart toward God.

Do you deny that all sexual sin is a sin against the body of the person who commits it? You seem to. The Bible says otherwise. Tell me, Roger, will Jesus forgive a repentant homosexual?

Scripture says Jesus will receive all who come to Him.

How many repentant sodomites do you know?

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

God gives them over to a reprobate mind.

Roger

Please help me to understand your point of view. Are you insinuating that the pleasure of sex between a male husband and a female wife without the intent of bearing children is sinful? Or that after the wife goes through menopause that the couple should stop having sex?

Yet we’re awfully often concentrating on gays. I wonder why.

Of course, sex between men is not a healthy way of living. I guess they had that figured out already when the Bible was written. But also other adulterous people, no matter sexual preference, are living hazardously.

Now when I’m considering this, I am pretty convinced that cheaters, murderers, wicked people and etc are also playing with fire.

They completely overlooked the fact that Sodom had roving gangs of rapists walking the streets at night. Remember there weren't 10 rightous men at all in the city.
