This is an interesting link which goes into great detail into who the man of lawlessness might be. For those interested in our eschatology, it might be of help to you. I would encourage everyone to watch it.
Wow, Mr. MacArthur surely has abandoned his Reform roots over the years....(Gill, Clarke etc..)

Jesus on the white horse in chapter six is now the Madhi....ever changing prophecy....perhaps more like speculation to fit present day political scenario.

John Gill’s Exposition of the Entire Bible, written in the 18th century, says;
And I saw, and behold a white horse, Representing the ministration of the Gospel in the times of the apostles, which were just now finishing, John being the last of them, who saw this vision; and the “horse” being a swift, majestic, and warlike creature, and fearless of opposition and war, may design the swift progress of the Gospel in the world, the majesty, power, and authority with which it came, and opposition it met with, and which was bore down before it;

Adam Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible from the early 19th century explains;

A white horse – Supposed to represent the Gospel system, and pointing out its excellence, swiftness, and purity.
He that sat on him – Supposed to represent Jesus Christ.
A bow – The preaching of the Gospel, darting conviction into the hearts of sinners.
A crown – The emblem of the kingdom which Christ is to establish on earth.
Conquering, and to conquer – Overcoming and confounding the Jews first, and then the Gentiles; spreading more and more the doctrine and influence of the cross over the face of the earth.

On the other hand he was cast out of the first family of the Covenant (by God Himself), disenfranchised of his primogeniture. Doubtless for perfectly legitimate reasons.
The covenant was never in respect the seeds of Abraham as the generation of Adam natural I unconverted man , the fleshly seeds, but was in respect the seed (one) Christ the spiritual unseen seed. The new generation of Christ. The new Adam .Same argument going on in Jerusalem today looking to the temporal.

When we try and make it about the temporal things seen, flesh and blood, we miss out on the spiritual application. The gospel is not in represent to the political governments of this world . its not Rome against England, or Russia against the United States as if they were part of prophecy . But against the things not seen in high place.

Where do you get that idea? Scripture states that those who speak against the Son of Man will be forgiven; it is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit that will not be forgiven. Check Luke 12:10 for confirmation.
Carrying on the same pattern .of Jesus as the Son of man. He refused worship in respect to the temporal things seen .God is not a man as us.

When called good Master he gave glory to God not seen and said: "only God is good". the word good is set aside as holy to represent the unseen Holy place of faith. The Son of man refused to stand there. The moment Jesus disappeared as the Son of man out of sight . Blasphemy could not be forgiven .

Blasphemy cuts off the feet of the gospel and tries to give it to men as antichrists Like with Peter under the influence of the spirit of the antichrist Satan, the things of men, antichrists, they offend the invisible things of our good God .

Matthew 12:31-32 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, (seen) it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, (not seen) it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

The flesh profits for nothing Zero.

Peter the antichrist the three (end of the matter) time denier..

But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. Luke 12;9-10

Its like now you see it forgiveness .Now you don't.

Same kind of reasoning...

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

We walk by faith out of sight in our hearts.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Again a person would first have to define what a antichrist is and how it relates to antichrists plural. Peter in Mathew 16 is shown used as one. Peter our example of one that denies Christ in unbelief was forgiven of his blasphemy against the Son of man, Jesus.

Today that would not be forgiven..

This is how we know it is the last hour. even now many antichrists have (past tense) come. Not "will come" (future tense) We walk by faith as they did.

A continuance from the garden when corruption came. Cain the first of many antichrists moved by Satan the spirt of the antichrist (singular) the god of this world, murdered Abel the martyr a witness to the faith of Christ working in him like with Peter in Mathew 16 to try and make the gospel without effect. Blasphemy breaking the first commandment. No other gods in the likeness of men before God who is not a man as us. he must increase we must decrease.

The reformation came, beginning the last days and the disciples John 6 that were hoping the flesh of Christ would profit to confirm something walked away in unbelief, no faith in God not seen. This is when Jesus said the Spirit quickens the soul as a unseen work. . . . His flesh profits for Zero.

They went out from us because they were not of the right manner of spirit but were rather walking after the temporal flesh as that seen as antichrists. Those who have not both the Father and the Son.(no salvation) The generation of natural unconverted mankind.

18 Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their

You have to read verse 18 completly

A. Dear children, this is the last hour and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming.
the antichrist is coming is present continuous tense

Let me quote what is present continuous tense

The present continuous verb tense indicates that an action or condition is happening now, frequently, and may continue into the future.
The Present Continuous Formula: to be [am, is, are] + verb [present participle]
Aunt Christine is warming up the car while Scott looks for his new leather coat. They are eating at Scott’s favorite restaurant today, Polly’s Pancake Diner.

The second rider is "faithful and true". How then, can they both be Christ? I must be missing something here.

I wish people understood. If the antichrist is to blaspheme and declare himself to be God. He MUST destroy all forms of religion. Literally making his own religion. (Even paganism will be thwarted by him, Because he wants all focus on him.)

And he is also. No matter what people say. The final leader of the final gentile world power (rome) who will in power when christ returns, As the rock, who brings down all forms of gentile rule. You could say, to END the time of the gentile (see romans 11) As he uses mankind (as he always has) and supernatural events to show his wrath on this earth. And bring in the kingdom age, With himself as ruler, Thus ending the rule of Mankind. And putting things BACK to the way they were supposed to be before Adam and Eve made their fateful and catastrophic decision to reject Gods authority and establish their own.

In order for pope to do that, That would have to include the chrstians and the jews and every other religion known to man.

That would be a monumental task.

The Islamic world empire has ruled or currently rules a lot of the territory that used to belong to the Roman empire, funnily enough.
But the specification from John about the antichrist wen out from us but not one of us, not fit to muslim.

And I believe first white horse in revelation is false Christ. I do not think muslim pretend to be Christ, since muslim do not believe Christ is God

I think the Mahdi will be the Antichrist. Jesus (our Jesus) will be their antichrist. Their Jesus (not ours) will be the false prophet.

Also, the Antichrist does not "pretend to be Christ". He pretends to be the Messiah (of the world). He will bring peace on a massive scale but he won't claim to be Jesus.

What is the first rider not Jesus?

Revelation 6:1-2 "Then, in my vision, I saw the Lamb break one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures shout in a voice like thunder, 'Come!' Immediately I saw a white horse appear, and its rider was holding a bow, he was given a victor's crown and he went away, to go from victory to victory."

He has has the authority to break the seals, plus He has a victor's crown, King of Kings, before He even starts.
He is leading the others with His bow and crown.

This book is about the revelation of Jesus the Christ.. stated in the first line.

Let me quote the etimology of antichrist

EtymologyEdit
'Antichrist' is translated from the combination of two ancient Greek words αντί + Χριστός (anti + Christos). In Greek, Χριστός means "anointed one" and the word Christ derives from it.[6]"Αντί" means not only anti in the sense of "against" and "opposite of", but also "in place of".[7][8] Therefore, an antichrist opposes Christ by substituting himself for Christ.

therefore an antichrist opposed Christ by substituting himself for Christ.

Substituting for Christ mean replace Christ by himself ~ claim himself as Christ.

In rev 13 say the beast claim to be God

I believe the beast in rev 13 is the antichrist

So the antichrist ~ subtituting Christ or counterfeit Christ ~ beast~ false God.
Why muslim subtituting Christ and be false God when they do not believe Christ is god
