Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is keep quiet. A message that isn't listened to closes doors. That little voice of right and wrong that Kevin responded to, that's going to grow and condemn him until he has to talk about it. Then who is he going to go to - someone who he knows will just harass and bash him, or someone who was willing to withhold judgment in order to keep the door open? Several of the disciples were warned at various times not to go to various places because they weren't ready to receive the message yet. Shoving unwanted dictates down people's throat just guarantees they will NOT come to you when they are ready to talk.
Don't put your lack of wisdom and gentleness onto others.
You may witness to people clumsily by harassment and bashing, but many of us can preach the gospel in gentleness and with
reference to what Jesus has done for us.
And what's this withholding judgment in order to keep the door open? Man your style of preaching is the problem.
"shoving unwanted dictates down people's throats" again I see that you are the problem.
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Matthew 10:16
I preach how a person can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit and that miracles and healings
are also available to bless their lives with.
No bashing, no thumping, no harassing. No shoving it down their throats.
As for any judging the Word of God does that by itself - speaking to a person's soul and heart.
If they are not ready or willing to hear the gospel at that time then I just move on to the next person who might listen.
Hopefully, later on a person might have another opportunity to repent and to believe.
