I know I’m dumb as paint, and as a consequence of that unpleasant fact, I might have said a few things that best should have never been uttered.

And what does my not liking correction have to do with whether my family listens to me or not?
Well, just wait till the divorce, or deathbed, either or now, since they are legally married now you cant do anything about it. I think the law on divorce is like 2 years of separation before a divorce can be granted. So maybe the 'honeymoon' will wear off by then.
I dont know that much about gay people divorcing, but I do know that these marriage can be shams for property and financial reasons. Actually many homosexuals practice something like open marriage, they will marry one person, but still have multiple partners on the side cos they cant get enough of sodomizing each other. And what happens is their prey gets younger and younger.
If someone isnt over to that mindset it might be they are just confused and think they are female, in that case they could have a sex change operation, but that costs big money. And it seems like most of them after a few years get complications and want to be changed back.
I know of people that turned 'gay' and left their husband or wife and even children behind to pursue their 'lover' . It is only what they carnally desire and never mind the trail of broken hearts they leave in their wake.

Most gay wedding celebrants wont do religious weddings of course.
Its quite a different thing they have made up their own idea of what marriage is. The reason its been legalised is manifold, but they then want to adopt children, basically by paying straight couples huge amounts of money to give up their children or via test tube, which is done through fornication, making more bastard children (sorry if that words offensive, but thats what it is) but if you actually trace back to peoples roots it comes down to idolatry and adultery, and also pride.
Basically its satanic and I dont know how you would effectively pray for a person whos captive to be delivered from all this, but Jesus can do anything. He sets the captives free. But see the captive has to actually want to be free, if they love sinning they will carry on doing it. They are blinded.
