I fully understand what your saying but what I don't understand is why your "assuming" he and others like him are not being prayed for? And I can assure you it's alot more than an hour. And btw, I have been exposing wof teachers and their heretical teachings since the late 1970's. You should also know that many have gone and confronted them personally just as the Bible prescribes.

IN GOD THE SON,

And many have been left trying to find a secular rescue from the curses. It took faith in the Word of God to avoid poverty. We took the faith route they preached, and prospered from their Bible based teaching. I am part of the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ world-wide through those avenues for 50 years and don't regret that. I have helped finance the jets to speed it all up. I want the ministers of the gospel to have the promised prosperity associated with their life long devotion to the gospel of Christ. I've also learned not to waste resources on leaches that do no more than suck blood.

You can take your hatred of such with you to the Judgment. You are urged to repent.

I'm afraid your out of touch with reality as it concerns word of faith teachings and its teachers. copeland and others of his "ilk" would never have gotten where they are if it were not for people who fall for their heretical teachings and their "scams."

You have to look hard at wof teachings and peel back the onion (so to speak) as to what they really mean. For instance, God does not "absolutely GUARANTEE PHYSICAL HEALING." Or Jesus Christ did not die "spiritually" on that cross. What does dying spiritually mean? Who would qualify to die spiritually? Does Jesus? Here are a couple of more sites. http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/word-faith.html https://bereanresearch.org/white-paper-word-of-faith/

So, please read the sites I posted and you tell me if what they teach is Biblical? Also keep in mind that truth is often mixed with error to make it sound and appear "orthodox."

Whenever you refuse to stand upon a scriptural promise of God, you will of course be left "on your own". You will need a lot of luck the rest of your days.

Bluto, you will benefit far more from the scriptures alone. It's obvious you are allowing the general media to shape your thoughts. Actual Word of Faith sermons actually are solid Bible based lesson covering all aspects of Christian life in the mode of FAITH instead of worn out powerless religious junk preaching on social issues. A skeptic stumbles across a sermon that includes MONEY, and the skeptics go wild. Jesus preached on the subject of MONEY more than HEAVEN. Prosperity is still preferred by God over poverty. It's a matter of blessing v. curse. God lets people choose poverty and blessings. Choose. The media you choose so far is persuading you to go for the low life. I stick to the Bible.
Excuse me, but how do you know the general media is shaping my thoughts? You think I'm basing what I know about wof from "Inside Edition?" If you do, you could not be more wrong. Like I told the other poster I have been dealing with wof since the 1970's and am an expert on who they are and what they teach.

I have first hand knowledge based on vhs tapes, cd's, book, pamphlets, flyers and debating with them personally on occasion. Please read the following sites and you should know there hundres like them. http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/word-faith.html https://bereanresearch.org/white-paper-word-of-faith/

So, after reading what they teach (and this is just a small sampling) do you think they are "sticking" to the Bible? And btw, the money issue is the least of their worries. You need to get yourself informed before you confront people on anything about the "low life."

Well here's a scriptual promise for you. "When I say to the widked, "You shall surely die; and you do not WARN him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, BUT THE BLOOD I WILL REQUIRE AT YOUR HAND." And here's another one in the NT, "And do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, BUT INSTEAD EVEN EXPOSE THEM." Ephesians 5:11. Btw, I don't live depending on "luck."

11PETER 2:1.
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you,
who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them,
and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

JAMES 2:15-16
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
And one of you say unto them,
Depart in peace, be you warmed and filled; notwithstanding you give them not
those things which are needful to the body; what does it profit?

just personally, we, my wife and myself could never, ever, live in such opulence knowing
that our brothers and sisters were in need of just the 'basic needs of life' to have some
degree of daily comfort...- we are not against God blessing His chosen with wealth or prosperity,
it's the 'abuse/mis-use' of this gift of stewardship that is appalling and gets under our craw...

14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death.
15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
17 But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

Do you know how many billions of dollars are going out to the world by the power of the millions God has blessed Copeland and others ministering to the world? I doubt you have bothered to discover the truth of that. It's apparent you trust the wicked media more than a righteous man's word. What judgment to come! You are better than Kenneth Copeland or Franklin Graham? God forbid!

Their efforts raise far more than they have. So does the fortune of Franklin Graham and many others actually doing something for the whole world.

What are YOU doing? Are you doing pitifully little with pitifully little to none left over to help, except pay your internet connection bill? Are you among the cursed, having too little to help, even pay your own bills? The Law curse assures that situation. Be freed in Christ. So you are left judging those who decided long ago to risk everything to reach the world for Christ? Take His escape.

The POOR are always the first to complain. Always. They are cursed under the Law, whether aware of that or not. Escape the curse!

What a nest of doubters and distractors here! You sting and refuse to bless! Wake up! Learn to recognize blessings. Look at everything the way Jesus does. He was opposed to Pharisaical thinking. Don't fall in with the Pharisees. Learn the true love in Christ Jesus. Your denominational teachings are Pharisaical in nature. Rely upon the Word of God, not opinions in your Sunday School lesson books authored sometimes by dubious authors. The Jehovah's Witness materials decive the same way. Check them out with the scriptures, rejecting unfounded doctrines.

I consider that a lie. The purpose of great wealth is to meet the needs the Holy Spirit directs you to. Living by that lie keeps you far away from the right amount of wealth to make a difference, answering the directives of the Spirit. So you are condemned to live by the produce of your own hands, satisfied to meet your own needs? If so you are selfish, knowing only your own needs.

Expose yourself, repent, and learn to to better. When you condemn the wealthy, you cut yourself off from the magnificent blessings of God toward the wealth gatherers who actually help the needy.

Yea, I know what you mean, I should follow you just like you follow these guys except for the last paragraph huh?

Duplantis says, The very first thing on Jesus` agenda was to get rid of poverty! Would you like to know why some people, including ministries, never get out of poverty? Its not because they aren’t smart. Its not because they don’t have windows of opportunity. Its because they’re not anointed. If you’re not anointed, poverty will follow you all the days of your life. His first objective was to get rid of poverty." (Nov. 1997 Voice of the Covenant magazine p.5) I guess the apostles were not anointed according to this theological fantasy.

Creflo Dollar states on his web site "You will walk in blessings, favor, prosperity, health and wealth, and you will do this without having to pursue wealth. First you must seek God's method of operation and His righteousness. When you find out how to live your life according to the Word of God you will become a money magnet." Jesus sent us out to be witnesses of his love and grace Creflo thinks he sends us out to gain wealth. Of course his reasoning is that without money how can you preach the gospel. Money is so central to his message that he tells his followers "Well, you need to hear about money, because you ain't gonna have no love and joy and peace until you get some money!" (Creflo Dollar, Praise the Lord, July 20, 1999)

Creflo seems to have neglected a discovery of truth that the Apostle Paul stated made his ministry blessed by God.

Phil 4:9: "The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you." V.11 "Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content." Certainly to preach what Creflo and Copeland and others are cannot be in agreement with the Apostle Paul who wrote the Scripture. No, Paul had a superior spiritual life than these men are claiming for themselves. 2 Cor. 6:9-10: "as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; (spiritual riches) as having nothing, and yet possessing all things."

While I am not often aware of the lost needy who don't show up at church, we are very aware of fellow brethren fallen into need. Those are the ones Jesus pointed to. The wicked lost and needy prefer to hide in their losses, refusing to have anything to do with church folks. We have many programs and helps that are designed to change directions of brethren who have fallen into trouble.

Beyond that, we participate in secular programs too, groups reaching out to the lost and suffering rebels refusing to have to do with the Church. Some of those volunteers are being abused in homeless camps, reducing the availability of volunteers.

Blaming the Church for the homeless miseries is based on a a lie from Satan, who knows who really cares. When the needy refuse real help, they condemn themselves all the more. You can maybe lead a horse to water, but can't make it drink. It takes thirst to want to drink. If the horse demands a handful of gold dust instead, might it die of thirst?

So Po Sam goes about to help po folks. His pockets are empty, but his words are many. Follw after me, says Po Sam.

Well, that's what the poor have been doing all along. They find Po Sam's house and burglarize what little Po Sam had.

Paul and his associates worked day and night among the poor, earning their keep. But nowadys we have "Christians" trying to live by handouts with no expectation of work results. "Uh, I would lose my benefits if I earned above a certain amount." So it is a major part of Americans are satisfied to live on government handouts. Cursed to live "soft slavery" generation to generation.

THAT is what you are supporting, whether you realize it or not..

I'm not interested in your little stories about what society is doing to Po Sam. Why not give po sam the real story about riches. Here is what Jesus said. Matthew 6:19-21, "Do not lay up for yourselves treasure upon earth where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. vs20, But lay up for yourselves tresure in heaven where neither moth and rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal. vs21, for where your treasure is there will your heart be also."

And what Peter said at Acts 3:6, "But Peter saod. "I DO NOT POSSES SILVER AND GOLD, but what I do have I give you. Peter healed the man and gave him the gospel. As far as I'm concerned your "priorities" are all screwed up. This is what you should be following, "Let your character be fee from the love of money, BEING CONTENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE. for He Himself said, "I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you."

People need the gospel first and I don't mean the wof heretical gospel which you are up to your eyeballs in. Why do you think the rich young ruler walked away from what Jesus said? I also suggest you read what Jesus said to His diciples at Mark 12:41-44 about the widow's mite.

This whole thing also reminds me of the idiot governor of Virgina who wants to kill the baby after it's born by first making it comfortable. I wrote something down in my Bibe 56 years ago at the book of Jude based on Jude 22-23. "Give me souls or I'll die because our calling is other people." Hows that fit into the wof money laundring scams?

So, you are on record healing the sick like Jesus did, and ought to be making front pages of newspapers? How many missing legs have you restored? I need to look you up by name, and bring you a friend who cut four fingers off with a Skill saw. He would like to have them back. Can you help? Well, you should be able, since you reject the money-wealth part and relate to miraculous healing instead. Folks ought to be seeking you out by the billions, since all you have to give is miraculous healing and assorted miracles. t seems to me anyone else associated with that activity these days is typically labelled a charlatan, faker, healing by the power of Satan, a deceiver using Photo Shop.

I do know of ministries drilling wells to proved water around the world, using money contributed by Christians who support them. I don't know of any certified ministers feeding Ethiopia with a boy's lunch. But I do know many are fed using money to buy food and medicines.

Put your healing power to the test! Show it and be famous for it, like Jesus was. Meanwhile I must assume your claim to be a scam of some sort. Maybe you think you are Benny Hinn?

Why are you spending more on internet fees than what it would take to feed a starving child you will never meet? Own a nice vehicle. Shame. Live in a house instead of a tent, or a rock for a pillow? If so you have more than Jesus had. Shame.

You refuse wealth so you can live happily in poverty, perhaps homeless by choice so you can appear holy? Choosing the curses of the Law to feel righteous?

I choose the blessings God offers to the righteous, providing what it takes to promote the gospel of Christ around the world. According to your belief I must "bless" you with "may you never be cursed with wealth or even plenty enough to give to those who lack, else Satan tempt you to be of help to anyone" since you reject the idea of having money to give, only blessing with great miracles like the apostles showed.

Which is more likely to provide?
