I am so sorry to hear the news of your mother's passing, you have my deepest Sympathy. I remember when my Mom passed away, so I can have Empathy with you. Learn to cherish the Memories, it will help and my your grief be replaced with those precious memories.

Volunteer Chaplain Orville

Grief is impossible to describe, except you do not choose it, it takes hold of who one is.
Those who are secure in their relationships and have not lost someone close to them often fail to
understand the devastating effect it has, which changes who one is. Losing an arm begins to
come close, you will never be the same again. People are defined by their best interactions,
not the last ones, which some confuse in this grief, which can be moved on from.

A friend of my wifes father died recently and he did not want a funeral. That was sad as often
funerals are good for the family and friends to let go, to accept what has happened and to
celebrate the person who has blessed them in their life. And so much more so when they are
with the Lord and know His love and Spirit in their life, Amen, Praise the Lord.

The mixed emotions of Mary at the tomb wanting to show her love of Jesus, and then seeing
Him alive, that must have been hard, and yet pure joy. To meet our family in heaven, Amen,
what a joy, what grace awaits us to be with Him there, Amen.

It is true, when both parents are gone no matter your age you feel like you have been orphaned, it takes much time to come to terms with that feeling. :(

For sure....My dad was killed when I was three and Brian one.......I mean...we all know death comes for most and when it comes it comes unexpected in most cases........but when you have family dropping dead like aunts, uncles, moms etc.....you know you getting old HAH........and for sure like the line from the song.........Time marches on for whom the bells toll............

Yeh I get that.
Got the age that people I looked up to are now at home with Jesus.

Mind you over here they say you are old when you start shopping at Marks & Spencers.
Like the people I knew when I was once young and thought was old.
Now I'm shopping there.

In fact bought my Chino's from M&S and a jacket just last week.
Going on a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords on Friday.
25th wedding anniversary celebration.

The actual date of 25 years is July 23. But the cruise we want is more conducive in June.

So we went with Friday 31st as it happens to be my wife's birthday.

How can the fear of dying be overcome, since the experience of being wounded hurts
Paul said to not sorry as those that have no hope.....Mom was a believer.....and for a few years now she just wanted to go home......he reminded me of the words of Solomon....

Enjoy the days of your youth before the evil days come upon you and you take no pleasure in them.

I know I am old when my kids say, that old guy, in his 50's said such a stupid thing......
They then realise I am that old, and they get slightly embarrassed.

Do some never let grief hit them? Yes. They are numb to the events around them, but it is not because
it has not hit, it is just they are disconnected from their hearts and this bomb of emotions will blow up
one day. For most this is dangerous, because it can be totally debilitating when it does blow up.

For others they are so disconnected what they really care about has been lost many years ago.

Well........How are the workers for and Cainologists doing today, or what about the salvation losers......have you all done enough to remain saved or earn your salvation...?

Nope....never have, never will.....

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by FAITH without the works/deeds of the law.

Those that blend faith and work to gain or keep salvation --->JESUS identifies you with the MANY <----plenteous in number.....that come before his throne peddling works just as you do........I suggest you actually trust JESUS....he saves by faith with NO works, strings or religious hoop jumping attached........

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe!!

On that WORTHY site, the Moderator closed down the thread addressed the closing post to me.

He said there were WAY too many arguments, where WE here only count them as heated discussion.

So I thought the management were Neutral, but they seem to BE totally against OSAS too.

And have bought in to the false doctrine that OSAS does not teach obedience to the Lord.

So I have to reverse my opinion, to well below OKAY, that I originally gave them.

I only confronted three issues on several occasions, one, that they had a distorted view of what OSAS actually teach and believe. Another one was the guy that thinks he does not sin. And the third issue was the ex-Catholic that claimed he was a Non-Trinitarian, and even had that posted below his Avatar, because He does not believe The Holy Spirit is an Individual. Too much Star Wars when he grew up.

I regret that I did not get to post an answer to this guy:

There many kinds of different twist to "OSAS",

I take it as the foundation is that Jesus does not count our sins against us.

I mean the believers.

I have been associated with a WIDE NUMBER OF OSAS Churches. Mainly because we moved a lot. And I only found ONE OSAS DOCTRINE.

There is a joke, and the joke is one can know Jesus, have faith and not walk in His ways.

It is a joke, because if you know Jesus, you know what sin is and what holiness means,
and therefore to have faith in Him is to walk in His ways, not because it is His way, but
because love itself has captured your soul, and the Holy Spirit dwells within.

It is not even a choice, because you become a child of God, with streams of living water
flowing out of your heart.

Those who want to fight a battle as if argument or theology change the spiritual reality,
do not actually know what love capturing ones soul means.

And the more I follow Jesus, the more it becomes so clear. Our sinful behaviour stems
from our lack of communion and dwelling with the most high, so the highs of each day
are something else than bringing it all to Christ in praise and worship.

11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him
who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,
12 in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory
Eph 1

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Phil 4

To those whose hearts do not respond to God with praise this seems to be boasting, because
they feel disappointment. But rather, start thanking God for all the blessing He has poured
out into you life, and praise Him for His great salvation He has given you, the love He has lavished
on all of us to call us Children of the Living God, Amen, and you will begin to experience what it
means to flow in His love and praise. And this is the point, being rather than standing afar off and
discussing points this way or that, but rather participating in following His will, Amen.

Has anyone told you that joke?

He posts that drivel and then wonders why very few pay attention to a deceiver that has been banned at least twice and still breaks the rules while peddling that he obeys the rules....the tragic truth....he is a walking talking joke when it comes to being biblical and or truthful.....
