It is my Biblical Opinion that.... In order to understand the Flood, one must understand the following:

The world of Adam was an enclosed Biosphere much smaller than our earth, which was totally surrounded by the firmament which protected it from the water - below and above it - into which it was placed. Gen 1:6-8 .... Adam's Earth was not on a Rocky Planet, like the present Earth, since it was "clean dissolved" in the Flood, and rocks don't dissolve in water. Isa 24:19

This Earth, the Earth of Adam, was FLAT. It's highest point is only about 22 1/2 feet above sea level, Gen 7:20 .... while our earth’ highest elevation is some 29k ft. above sea level in comparison. Their entire Earth had only 4 Rivers while our present World has thousands of Rivers all over the face of the earth, indicating it was much much smaller than our Earth.

Here are some model images of Ancient Hebrew Perspective of Flat Earth - simili- for reference only - Adam's firmament of heaven - surrounded by waters below and above it - see link..... https://www.pinterest.ph/pin/113715959316206919/

During the Great Flood, Noah and the Ark were 22 1/2 ft above Adam's Earth on the 150th Day after the Flood began. At this depth the mountains of that Earth were covered in water. Gen 7:20. On the SAME 150th Day after the Flood began, the Ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat. Gen 8:4

That's one of the mysteries. HOW could the Ark be in both places on the SAME Day?
Mt. Ararat, where the Ark finally landed has an elevation of 16,853 ft and not the 22 1/2 feet that you state. The bible does not say that the entire earth only had 4 rivers but only mentioned these 4 rivers in the Genesis account.

The 22 feet is referring to the height of the water that was above the mountain and not the height of the water from the face of the earth.

The place wher the 4 rivers merged has been photographed from space. Although 2 are gone their beds still remain visible. after the food sea levels Had risen drastically and if any of Eden remains it would lie at the bottom of the Persian Gulf now. ;):geek::love:

The world of Adam was FLAT - first heaven or the garden of Eden - NOT our present earth. IF there were more than 4 rivers at the garden of Eden - Adam's world - then, the Scripture will indicate so... therefore, your assumption is based only on your own opinion and NOT supported by the Scripture.

To give you more ideas... Here are some model images of Ancient Hebrew Perspective of Flat Earth - simili- for reference only - Adam's firmament of heaven - surrounded by water below and above it - see link..... https://www.pinterest.ph/pin/113715959316206919/

Correct, the height of the mountain was covered at the height 22 1/2 - and the highest mountain is ALL covered with flood.... less than that height, the mountain could not been covered. Read again below....

During the great flood, Noah’ Ark was above the highest mountains of Adam's world (22 1/2 ft.). The firmament, in which Adam's Earth was contained beneath the surface of water in Lake Van, Turkey --and end up floating the largest Lake in the area. It's in the mountains of Ararat and is some 75 miles wide.

Are you and Dino the same person? Seemingly, you are now picking up his style of debating by misrepresenting and editing the thrust of your rivalry's quotes for fallacy of argument, are you?

The Ark landed into our present world - floated in the surface of Lake Van, Turkey - and end up at the mountains of Mt. Ararat. Of course, it is no longer 22 1/2 ft. deep. READ MY LIPS..... OUR WORLD IS DIFFERENT FROM ADAM'S WORLD.

We know this because In the New Testament, we were told that their heaven and earth.... “Whereby that the world THEN WAS -- standing out of the water and in the water -- being overflowed with water, perished” (Greek- totally destroyed) 2Pet 3:5-6

The Ark which was covered, floated out the top of Adam's firmament into the largest Lake in the area (Lake Van) when the windows of their heaven opened and the flood gates of waters rushes in the firmament,.... as the firmament sank, it released the Ark into our world - thus, Adam’s world was totally destroyed / dissolved in the Global Flood.

If it sounds like Atlantis, so be it.

This explains a way for a 450 foot Ark to be above their highest mountains of Adam's world (22 1/2 ft) ref. Gen 7:20 ...AND....in the mountains of Ararat on the SAME 150th Day after the flood began (Gen 8:4).

The world of Adam was FLAT - first heaven or the garden of Eden - NOT our present earth.
Statement without evidence = opinion. Nothing is said about Eden being the first heaven, and nothing is said about it not being our present earth.

IF there were more than 4 rivers at the garden of Eden - Adam's world - then, the Scripture will indicate so...
Misrepresentation. Scripture does not say that there are more than four rivers at the garden of Eden. It also doesn't say that there are four rivers at the garden of Eden. It says that the river (one) that flowed out of Eden divided into four. Nothing is stated about rivers in the other parts of the earth.

Scripture doesn't say that Eden was Adam's world. Scripture states that God planted a garden toward the East, in Eden. That strongly suggests that Eden was a location on Earth. This is further supported by the account of the rivers.

your assumption is based only on your own opinion and NOT supported by the Scripture.
Well, you said it yourself.

Still whining about people editing your quotes? You simply don't get to dictate how your words are edited. Nobody is misrepresenting what you wrote; we are only isolating specific pieces so that our comments are shown next to the portions of your comments to which they relate. Get used to it; it's going to keep happening.

More unbiblical assertions. Our world is different from Adam's world in geography, not in identity. The flood reshaped the surface.

Scripture also tells us HOW and WHEN the prehistoric people on our Earth inherited the Human intelligence which is unique to Adam and his descendants. God calls prehistoric people whose origin was in the water on Day 5, sons of God. Gen 1:21

The sons of God (prehistoric mankind) married and produced the Humans on the first Earth, which was totally destroyed in the Flood. Genesis 4 tells us that Cain married and produced Enoch, his son, with a woman who could ONLY have brought forth from the water, as God told us in Gen 1:21.

Today's Science confirms that EVERY living creature MUST have water to live since EVERY cell in our body would die without it. No Ancient Man could have possibly known this. Read it for yourself:

Gen. 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God (prehistoric mankind) came in unto the daughters of men (Heb-Adam), and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

The giants were giants intellectually as is shown at the end of the verse. They were the Humans of the first Earth, and they had agriculture, smelting, city building, and technology with little of NO evolution. Adam farmed with NO evolution, and Cain built a city with NO evolution, showing that Human intelligence is Superior to ANY creature made from the water.

The fulfillment of the prophecy of "and also after that" was fulfilled when Noah brought the human intelligence of Adam to Northern Mesopotamia in the mountains of Ararat. This happened some 10k years ago and the FIRST human cities and the FIRST agriculture, and the ONLY Human civilization on our Earth, PROVES it.

SUDDENLY, the sons of God, (prehistoric man) evolved the Human intelligence of Adam and changed from animal to Human intelligence. Prehistoric man settled down, built houses, cities, and developed math and writing, proving that anything is possible IF you have the intelligence of the first Human, Adam. Below is the empirical record of the arrival of the first Humans on this Earth:

Map: Fertile Cresent, 9000 to 4500 BCE.... http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/History/fertilemap.html

In less than 1% of the time since the sons of God diverged from Chimps, on this Planet, they went from Caves to the Moon and back, and yet Evolutionists and Religionist seem to be totally ignorant of this Fact. Humans also inherited the ERVs of the common ancestor of Chimps BUT Humans did NOT evolve from the common ancestor, but from our own common ancestor whose name is Adam.

you have been included on my IGNORE LIST.
i always hate to hear someone do this.

To whom shall I speak and give warning That they may hear? Behold, their ears are closed And they cannot listen Behold, the word of the LORD has become a reproach to them; They have no delight in it.
(Jeremiah 6:10)
Yet they did not listen or incline their ears, but stiffened their necks in order not to listen or take correction.
(Jeremiah 17:23)
whoever hates correction is stupid
(Proverbs 12:1)
willfully plugging your ears to someone, especially someone who is genuinely trying to reason with you about the truth, seems evil, and a terribly sad mistake to me. is it because you lack the self-control to skip past what you aren't interested in reading? is it because you cannot bear to hear criticism?

please reconsider. my 'ignore list' is, and will remain, empty.

Dino is usually very polite, and does his best to stick to facts, logic, and the actual text.

If you cannot even comment on Dino without grossly misrepresenting what he says,
not many people will trust you to comment on scripture, which is much more complicated.

Or in other words, if you'll lie about one thing to prove your opinions, you'll lie about another thing to prove your opinions.

If you'll lie about what Dino says, and read your emotions and presuppositions into HIS words,
then you'll lie about what God says, and read your emotions and presuppositions into GOD'S words.

I think that pretty much covers all my views on this entire thread.

More speculative questions. Purchase a copy of The Genesis Flood by Whitcomb and Morris to get a proper Christian perspective on this subject.

The account in Genesis specifically states that the level of water covered the top of Mt. Ararat by 22 feet. The level of water on the earth was at least as tall as this mountain exceeding the height by 22 feet not 22 feet from the ground but rather the peak of the mountain. No, Dino and I are different members but we do share the attribute of common sense.
