Again, Be careful bro. Notice how manipulative he was.

1. He stated we shoud confront people with sin, But is non responsive and quite defensive when we confront him of his, in fact he denies it is even sin
2. He says there are some people who think we should stay as we are. Which is his continual lie and slanderous statement about people he refuses to listen to people. Mocks them, and then claims we do not have a right to say what we believe, that he has the right to tell us what we believe.

He is not honest and you will not have much conversation.
Lol. I wonder who is being spoken about.

Many do hold they are saved and can stay as they are before God. Stating this is reflecting a easy believism
position. Now who aspires to this and who does not is up to them, but it is always helpful to state this.

Sin. Sin is defined in scripture and in our hearts, because God has put His law in our minds and hearts.
But then maybe ocd sin resides also with many, but then probably they have never met the Lord and only
have their over active legalism, and super judgemental approach.

Honesty. Praise God that in Him we are pure, blameless and Holy, without fault.

I remember having a conversation with a very religious man. His thought was I had to accept everything
he said, or I was wrong. You cannot have a discussion with people like this, because it is just a one way
street. God bless you

We're not talking about PERFECTION in fruit bearing, we were talking about fruit bearing period. You said it takes a period of growth and maturity to bear ANYTHING. Why is that? What does a new Christian need that he or she doesn't already have?

a. A new Christian can bear fruit by sharing their testimony
b. A new Christian can bear fruit by intercessory prayer
c. A new Christian can bear fruit by supporting a ministry financially.

None of these take a NECESSARY period of growth and maturity.
Look.....do not address me with your drivel.....I was not addressing you and what I said is biblical....the word perfected = MATURED and GROWN.....I am sick of your incessant, ridiculous ignorance......do not address me every again unless you can start being HONEST.....

LET the LOVE of GOD be perfected IN YOU.....

But if anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him:

The ROOT
teleioó: to bring to an end, to complete, perfect

Yeah, if that happens, obviously you have people in your pocket, BECAUSE referring to a person's stance on lying to the Holy Spirit is not the same as accusing them of lying to the Holy Spirit. Go back and read the post where you said Argueless accused you of lying to the Holy Spirit, and read them over and over again until you COMPREHEND what he said. Because yo no comprende.
Cry me a river....and do us both a favor....do not address me again.......and read the whole thread......he is another deceiver, been here under different names and was banned once already.......and YES he has accused me numerous times.......after you go thru ALL posts he has made then come address me....

Amen. This might sound harsh, but there are some who believe we should stay as we are
compromised and defeated and this is what Jesus expected.

I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.
Acts 26:20

You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
James 2:22

Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Rom 13:10

To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law.
1 Cor 9:21

Faith is only real when action is done as a result.
Faith without action is just thought faith, nothing more.

9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Romans 10:9-10

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
Matt 22:37

Love of God captivates everything that we are in Christ, to have this without it outworking
it is not real.

dcon - the point about making positions clear, is so one declares the boundaries of belief.
Each reader is the only authority on their position, so I can but share my position and that
which I have come across. It is up to the reader to place themselves where they lie.

A clearer way of saying this, is if sin was like a massive pain coming from ones leg, that could
be dealt with, one would not compromise and just say it does not matter, I will live with it.

The sermon on the mount is such a set of ideas, which outline the foundation of our walk
with Jesus. The words are very food for our soul, a light to our path, joy to our hearts.
I just praise God for all He has done in me, and lift His name Higher, Amen.

I notice though my statements about positions some take, it taken to heart by yourself, so
which is true for you? I have not addressed anyone in particular yet you respond to a statement
about "some people believe". You sound like a judgemental censor who would stamp out any
open observations being made, because they would show up something they hold dear but do
not want to declare.

3 So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.
4 If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him."
5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"
Luke 17

We are commanded to forgive if someone repents.
Imagine a guy comes up to you and hits you in the face.
They come up later and say, I changed my mind and hits you again.
They repented according to some, so you now have to forgive them.

I do not think anyone would agree with you, and would actually
say they are not sorry for their sin or want to get back to good relations.

Now some are arguing this is how God will behave when beleivers hit him in the
face continually day in day out, and change their mind, and continue doing the same.

It is literally this insane, and no one would do anything than throw these people out.
So if this is your faith, get ready for "I never knew you. Go away you evil doers"
NO ONE who is a child of God would behave in this way , you are talking about unbelievers , they behave in that way , why ? because they do not have the Holy Spirit of God living in them...

I am sorry my friend, I have no desire to go on a proof exercise like this.
What I do is notice certain expression of faith and intentions and then realise this is there attitude.
Let me work this through for you. No repentance, no confession of sin, no walking like Jesus on earth,
no righteous walking, sinning daily without change or progress. What does this add up to?

Thought christians are christians who think faith but have no fruit of it.
And how do we become believers, with eternal life, we believe Jesus, no works, no demonstration.

Paul is quite simple about repentance
"I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds." Act 26:20

I have quoted what repentance means in the biblical sense from a Mosaic perspective.
We are then called by Paul to aim at perfection.

Join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,
who has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.
2 Tim 8-9

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
1 Thessalonians 4:7

Just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do
for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."
1 Peter 1:15-16

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children
and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.
Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.
For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Ephesians 5:1-5

Now obviously the above is not responded to by many with Amen.
And that for me says it all.

God bless you

Hi Rose,

You would think that, except there are some from various positions of faith,
who claim to know Jesus but do behave like this.

And yes I would conclude probably they do not know Jesus or have the Holy Spirit,
but I am always very reluctant to say as much.

I do not like judging anyone because it does not help them or me. I desire that
people might discover Jesus and listen to Him because they have come to wonder
at this man of love.

And to many here, I do wonder at their hurts and pains that drive the animosity
that flows with anger, because the source is only from them, and no one else.

God bless you

I should flip this statement into its opposite.
As past sinners, now washed and purified saints, can we walk righteously, literally acceptable
to God, because of what Christ has done in our hearts and as we dwell, have fellowship and
communion with God and have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us?

Is coming to Christ fulfilling the FHA righteousness, Faith Heart Action?

Now if walking in Christ is yes to the two questions above then amen.
If the answer is no, and God will just make us like Jesus at the resurrection, with rewards
between now on and then on whatever progress we have made, is this not compromise
and defeat is ok?

Easy believism or I get faith without change, and I am eternally saved, and no one can
criticise my walk or lifestyle no matter how sinful, is ok, then this is the place you end
up.

Now I am happy to say I can be wrong, but this appears to not be an unfair summary
of where people are.

The problem with compromise, is there is no way back. Which sin is not worthy of
rejecting and staying away from because of it destructive nature?
I am saved and going to heaven, so what if I live like a prostitute?

Hi dcon,

You are showing condemnation "garbage" "zero integrity man"
Do you have a heart in Christ? Does it not hurt you to say such
false things without any regard to what you are saying and how
personal you become?

I have discussed many things with many people, and it always comes
down to a choice. If the argument is too strong one has to shift or
stay deluded, but always knowing it is all empty.

I know to drag you out of your shell, takes something, so at least there
is some hope for you. I love FHA, faith, heart, action, because this is
Gods way. So I commend His road, His victory and His overcoming,
Amen.
