People confusing soul life salvation with spiritual eternal salvation over and over again ...then they preach salvation can be lost or needs to be maintained because they have failed to make that essential distinction. :(
A deeper question needs to be asked, what is salvation?
Some claim they are this eternal spiritual being, which can never die.
So what were they before they came to life?

John the Baptist had the Holy Spirit in the womb. This communion is
the Kingdom of Heaven, God dwelling in a human.

Jesus talked of John being less than any believer in heaven.
So any idea that we have an eternal spirit etc simply does not fit.

Communion with God by an indwelling Holy Spirit, ok.

I have studied Greek in seminary, have on occasion and during Seminary helped translate parts of scripture, regularly study every word from Greek using all available tools and have taught over 4000 lessons since 1995.......I even have a book on the 2nd coming here in the blog section....I currently teach a 1.5 hour straight lesson every Sunday..........NOT that any of this = being great or anything....just responding since you asked
Though I have all knowledge and have not love, I am nothing.

Loving people shouldn't call people stupid. Which is what "meathead" means, hypocrite.

Yeah, Jesus called people hypocrites, so it's OK for me, just like it's ok for you to call people names because Jesus did it.

Really.....You must not read the bible....

White washed coffins filled with the bones of dead me
Hypocrites
Generation of snakes
Blind leaders of the blind

Jesus and John must have been immature

Get your facts straight Macaroon......and show me where I quoted you......!!!
Now here is somebody taking themselves miles toooooooo seriously.
This reminds me of two walruses setting up for a fight, trying to square off etc :ROFL::ROFL:

The gospel of thought Christians is like flicking a peanut at death.
Yes it is all very rosy in wealth and comfort, flying round the world, enjoying oneself in the
entertainment and pleasures that come ones way. Not exactly what Jesus calls us to do though.

Sounds remarkably like ignoring justice, mercy and faithfulness, and focusing on self indulgence.
Wonder who had this type of problem in Jesus's day?

Dead bones Jesus is referring to is people with no life or love in their hearts.
Oddly when people refuse to have their hearts purified or even resolved, they declare
where their life is, and it is not in their hearts. In their minds? In their Spirits?

Did God call us to love Him with all our hearts or just others things?
Bit difficult if our hearts are full of wealth, self indulgence and taking it easy.

You judged me, now it's coming back at you. Have you not read, "judge not, lest you be judged".

Loving, mature, christians shouldn't call people stupid. Which is what "meathead" means, hypocrite.

Trust me. You are no John and you are certainly no Jesus.

And Jesus and John never called people "meathead" or "macaroni".

And Jesus and John were able to comprehend what a person was saying without blatantly misrepresenting them.

And Jesus and John never agreed with someone who misquoted a person. Where did I say "you're not saved until you bear fruit?" Post number please.

And Jesus and John never lied, like you did when you said "he has a habit of denying he said something". You cannot provide ONE instance where I said something and then denied it. NOT ONE.

None of your fan club can produce one post, not one post, to document that I ever fruit inspected, said that you're not saved until you bear fruit, said something that I later denied. No, not one.

...and you denied believing in prodigals that don't return, yet you believe a person can die in a prodigal state and still be a son. That is a prodigal that does not return.
Getting under ones skin. I remember reading in an interaction between members, it went
"you could not mean ..... because that would be very rude"
Often the assumption is the other party care, and respect is at play, when the other party
consider the person dirt to be trampled on, but actually hide this behind a pretend politeness,
which is dropped occasionally with a few words. This poison is effective, but the mistake is
not to recognise the snake one is dealing with and how they work. Once you have gauntlets
on you know what to expect, God bless you

I didn't say you misquoted me. I said you agreed with someone else who misquoted me.

You agreed and did not correct GB9 when he said that I kept saying "you are not saved until you bear fruit. So either you are not a man of integrity or you do not read the posts you are replying to.

...and are you calling me a racial slur? Macaroon is sometimes used as a racial slur.

Morning @Rosemaryx ......the negative aspect of spending 6 weeks in AU.....wake up at 2 am wide awake.........haha now 5 am....
Good morning brother...
I have just finished reading 2 Samuel where David committed adultery and murder , and just getting to the part where his son dies...
God is so gracious to David , where he deserved death , yet God saved him , but David had to deal with the consequence of his sins...

It just stopped me in my tracks to ponder what Gods grace means to us daily , His mercy , we deserve so much punishment for our sins , yet by grace we are saved...

Thank God for His beautiful Son , who saved a wretch like me...xox...

AMEN.....under the law he should have been put to death, but GOD who is rich in mercy and grace spared his life and gave us a big picture of JESUS by the innocent son of David taking his place in death.........makes me think of the guy that said....HAVE mercy on me thou son of DAVID when JESUS passed by........the innocent for the guilty and the guilty is spared and goes free......!!

Geesh......you must be really immature and easily offended....

A macaroon is a small biscuit/cookie, typically made from ground almonds, coconut, and/or other nuts or even potato, with sugar and sometimes flavorings, food coloring, glace cherries, jam, and/or a chocolate coating. Some recipes call for sweetened condensed milk.

No, just pointing out that he is not above what he professes to believe. He seems to think he is.

So was he calling me a racial slur or not?
don't know. don't care.

I don't know your race, don't care about your race, jokingly calling someone a cookie is just that.

Here is the funny things about the use of words to describe others, this is what Jesus says

35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.
36 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgement for every careless word they have spoken.
37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."
Matt 12:35-37

Jesus warns us that we will have to give account of every word we speak, or on the internet type.
You can tell the heart of someone when they disregard the impact they are having.

Sad to say, I know sharing the word of God bring a fragrance of death to some, and fragrance of life
to others. I wish I knew how I could help those who find Jesus's words discouraging because to me
they are all full of promise. Jesus spoke of things we could achieve in Him, through the Holy Spirit,
so they are words of promise not defeat, words of overcoming not condemnation.

It is the enemy who says you are not capable or worthy or able to walk with Jesus.
So believe, have faith, let the Holy Spirit talk to you and show you He created you to walk with Him
into eternity, into victory, into overcoming, Amen.

OK, we'll forget macaron/macaroon. Read this verse.

Matthew 5:22- But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Racca and Moros roughly translate "meathead". So you are ignoring Jesus' explicit teachings. Would you say moros roughly translated in vulgar vernacular is "meathead" which is what DC called me.

You know how many times I have been called rat poison in reference to DCON......it does not offend me and I think it is hilarious.....people are so easily offended in this day and age......I make plays on names all the time with everybody I know in jest......My neighbor one time threw a fit over something stupid and I hung a massive milk bottle for calves and a diaper on his door with a big smile and we both laughed about it and he got over his misunderstanding.......I can tell you....if these people cannot deal with a little banter and chat room heat....they will fold in a NY second when it really hits the fan....which is coming soon....
