Nope. Rejoice that they were saved and escaped hell, and that you will see them again.

Joy comes from the Lord. Not from your dead loved one.
so if you had a wife and kids the best thing that could happen to them is for all of them to die, the sooner the better? umm ok.

Rejoice for your living loved ones the Lord has provided, and give thanks to God each day for His goodness!

exactly, the Most High can do anything He wills. i wouldnt be teaching the dead do not talk to the living when the dead do talk to the living in the bible.
Saul was never condemned for talking to the dead, he was cut off from the Most High, and that divine knowledge, and he tried to get information from the Most High anyway.
also important, Saul had no interest in speaking to Samuel, he only cared about the knowledge Samuel had access to.
I totaly disagree with you.. God made it clear in the Law that His people where not to seek to contact the dead.. Saul broke that Law and died for it..

For the sake of clarity, technically Saul was already going to die, it just didn't help matters any that he went to a necromancer on top of everything.

the guy i was responding to said we should rejoice when our loved one dies. this idea sounds like something jim jones would be preaching. i have two little kids, the last thing i would want is for them to die just as soon as possible and then dance around rejoicing at their death, thats pretty scary.

You were responding to ME.

What I said was:
Rather, we should rejoice at the loss of a loved one who was saved, for now you know you will meet them again for eternity, although for a short time you will have to do without them, and you may grieve that; but I would warn against talking to the dead or saying such things, even if unintended.
Your demon intentionally took it out of context.

Because when they die they go to heaven where else?

That is where a Christian goes, yes. Heaven is a wonderful place because Jesus is there.

I see you were born on Christmas. How nice!

I know the game you are playing. Every time you get your birthday cake, you move your birthday ahead so you can get another.
