At the moment of conversion, one is saved forever. Even if they walk away later. They couldn't go to hell if they tried. If salvation is truly a gift, and grace actually unmerited, this has to be so.

I will come too, it is time to post my 12 page essay on the dangers of speaking in tongues. The modern day speaking in tongues is totally different than when the Apostles spoke in TONGUES.

Now I have done a far bit of studying why Biblical “tongues” (in Greek - ‘glossa’, but also ‘dialektos’) as referenced particularly in Acts and Corinthians is to always be translated and understood as real language(s), not ecstatic utterances.

However, if we can derail the thread a bit I would like to know the dangers. I find that very interesting!!

I'm totally on your side UG as long as the OP does not object to VCO posting his essay on "The Dangers of Speaking in Tongues" or the subject doesn't get out of hand. I say "make us teachable students of God's word and go for it if the Lord wills....:)

Agree, we can handle it I am sure, and dcon he is a chill guy :) as long as we are not teaching false doctrine AND rightly so!!!!!

decontroversal had something revealed to him. Both of you have major problems calling people liars when they are not.

Can't you make a righteous judgment at all? Do trolls do what you do, or are they careful not to speak insults and they give many scriptures and explanations, as I do?
