I got a serious question you guys: If you go through a what you believe is a gospel hindering experience in Church. IS IT okay to talk about it? Or is that a lowblow rat move?
Ummmmmm go to that person one on one, if they do not listen go with a witness and if they fail to acknowledge again...bring it before the assembly <--biblical path

I have a powerful testimony. I just wanted to help others to have such a testimony too.

I love God's Truth and preach it.
You do not have a testimony,, You want to hear a real testimony, Listen to RosemaryX’s testimony, Oh wait, You did and you mocked her for it.

Your testimony is all you did to get God to save you.. Thats boasting man..

When you start to talk about how GOD SAVED YOU, and how you were powerless. Then you will have a testimony.

So are you saying Jesus called us to follow Him and obey Him or to ignore His word
and go against His teaching?

Because all the blessing is fulfilled in us obeying Him. Anything else is a betrayal.
Speaking of betrayal, why did the disciples forsake Jesus when He was arrested?

You don't get adopted until you become as a child.
You become adopted when you become bankrupt

A bankrupt person becaomes as a child. Because he is dependent 100 % on others..

Thats why the tax collector got on his knees, He was at the end of himself. With no hope

He did not confess his sins, He confessed he was a sinner and in need of mercy, And JESUS said he WENT HOME SAVED (justified)

You will not trust God, Until you stop trusting yourself

I gave many scriptures that say repent is of sins.
How can you repent of things you do nto even know of man?

You repent of being a SINNER,,

Learn the difference man!

There is no way possible you have repented of every sin or type of sin you have ever commited.. If thatis required. Your headed down under, not above! We all are

Jesus wouldn't have saved me if I did not humble myself, repent of my sins, and call on him.

Joh 15:16 "You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you. I have appointed you to go and produce fruit that will last, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.

also, did it include the same law that says it is a sin for a believer not to marry?
Or the law that one must become a child first to get the gift or have Barny like special revelations that few don't know.....Sounds like Diamond Dave back.....Jesus will reference him by his CC name to judge us in the day of judgment....

You have to repent
you add the word sins, The word is not there.
You have to repent of MORE THAN JUST SINS.. And you can not even RFEPENT of all sin because YOU DO NOT KNOW THEM YET!
The above for me is just insanity.
God lays out simple what repentance is.

But if a wicked man turns away from all the sins he has committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, he will surely live; he will not die. None of the offenses he has committed will be remembered against him. Because of the righteous things he has done, he will live.
Eze 18:21-22

But if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked man does, will he live? None of the righteous things he has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness he is guilty of and because of the sins he has committed, he will die.
Eze 18:24

Repentance has always involved stopping evil and doing good.

Why do people lie about this so much? There is nothing to gain.
Again Paul preached repentance and showing its fruit

I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.
Acts 26:20

Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.
2 Timothy 2:19

If one stays in wickedness we stay under judgement and condemnation.

When we repent, we change our mind about our sinful position and need for Christ to save us and the new direction of this change of mind is faith in Christ alone for salvation. Two sides to the same coin. (Acts 20:21)

Those who have repented will demonstrate their repentance by their deeds (Acts 26:20) and will no longer practice sin, but practice righteousness. (1 John 3:9-10)

It sounds to me like YTG defines "repent" as "completely stop sinning/become sinless" and obtaining salvation then becomes based on the merits of our performance in becoming sinless, yet believers are not sinless, without fault or defect, flawless, 100% of the time.

It is an interesting question. Jesus did not tell them what to do, and told them not to defend Him.
It was Peter who denied knowing Him when challenged, and Judas who gave Him up to arrest.

But Peter repented and knew Jesus's forgiveness, maintaining his faith in Jesus.

He is to focused on obedience and how good he is to think grace is an option.

Most people are like that because they refuse to admit all the hard work they did amounts to nothing. It was why Christ was crucified.

I think he has been her before.. Alot of the stuff he says sounds familiar..

He also thinks people have been banned because they preach obedience, so it seems he has a thing against this site also.. Makes me wonder if he was banned also.

Someone from the past just popped up in my mind but only vaguely.

It's funny but truth is what sticks in my mind.

I'm hoping the Word in spirit and truth changes things. He only reads the scriptures in English, doesn't search out to know meanings. A foolish thing to do IMO, especially when we have been given so many ways now to search.
If one believes they have a special revelation from God that few know and that one must become a child first to get the gift.......they are seriously in deep trouble.......both views are false and leads to one thay never accepts the truth

I guess this is so. It's just I know a bit of the torment that satan can bring. And I can't imagine how worse hell will be. I don't wish this on anyone.

What would the DECEIVERS of this age teach compared to the old serpent's deception? The same thing...DISOBEY GOD.

...Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. 1 John 3:7-10

...Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them. Ephesians 5:6-7

DO NOT REFUSE HIS WARNINGS. (Hebrews 12:25)

What you are expressing has been the main-line traditional belief system.
It is a walk of sanctification to end up walking like Jesus.
The tension has always been seeing our transformation fully fulfilled in Christ and our walk.

And the barrier is how closed our hearts are, and are we willing to change.
Because we have no compromise with sin, it is hard to specify how for each individual this
is worked out as we have many weaknesses and much to grow into.

This view of transformation very different from an evil flesh fighting a perfect spirit.
It is this flipping of the discussion as if we are talking a traditional framework to one
that is not Christian, when the very people discussing this hold to the perfect spirit,
lost flesh model.

But then being honest about their own beliefs has never been the way some discuss.
It must be because that view is simply not supported in scripture. Just as the defeated
believer in sin, is simply not saved.
